Who’s asking for flying right away as you level? Level to max, do all the quests, explore the world. So stop making strawman arguments.

What did you appreciate exactly, the intricate world design, the platforming sections, the zones in witch you have to cleverly use your class abilities to bypass mobs and bosses. o right nevermind they cant do any of that because of lying so i guess the zones were pretty right…
That was the beauty of Lich King: play through the content once, then you can buy flight for all your alts.

Its not just about Pathfinder, but that’s a chunk of it.
First time I left the game was early MoP… I didn’t care for the time gating.
Second time I left WoW, was right after waiting 3 weeks for the first battlefront, and then realizing it’d be months before I could start Path2… I didn’t know it’d be 10 more months at the time, before Pathfinder 2 was in game.
I came into BfA with 15 level 110s… atm, I have one 120… Yes, I completed Path2, but why continue. My alts were behind the curve, and as the rest of BfA is not good, not good as in crafting is pointless, fishing and arch are pointless, first aid just flat out removed from game, just generally the least alt friendly expax of all time.
Why alts… because what else is there, after I’ve completed my 45 minutes of timegated content on my main.
Classic is more fun, no time gating, it has talent trees, it’s not pruned… my toons are defined by their class, not limited by their spec…
Blizzard isn’t worried… no yet… not until the pre-orders flatline, and IF you believe all is well with Blizzard, then I’m guessing you didn’t understand those layoffs last winter, may well be followed with more layoffs this coming winter.
As was pointed out, in another thread, good news, IF you pre-purchase the Heroic, you can fly on that included mount, now, right up until SL goes live… and then wait a year.
Yeppers, log in… look around… those people you see, 90% of them are from other servers. Cross realm, looks good… yeah, no crossfaction though.
I’m just me… I won’t be missed, and my opinion is just one opinion.

No one (reasonable) is complaining about that, it’s expected and has been a thing even when flying was added in Burning Crusade. All I want is to be able to earn by wings from day one. If that’s the case IDGAF about pathfinder but waiting like I did for WoD, Legion and BfA turns wow from “I CAN’T WAIT TO GET HOME AND PLAY” to sigh “I’m bored and there’s no word on when 9.2 is coming”.

Im complaining about flying since it came into the game difference is now im older and i dont have as much fun staying in a capital city all day repeating the same dungeon over and over again. And theres no way anyone can argue that not flying makes the world worse unless you simply dont like the world in a game called world of warcraft.
You made a strawman, and you know it. I haven’t seen a single person ask for flying right from the start of the expansion from the first level. Just that once we do the quests and explore the world there shouldn’t be a pointless time gating.

Actually lets do something better lets ask blizzard to simply allow to port from WQ instantly and then to dungeons with clicks on a map it would allow us to explore every part of the world as we see fit and at the sametime would allow us to bypass all that excruciating world that they make 
I can’t huh? in BfA alone I’d constantly see dailies with “ok” rewards but so far from flight masters and through so many annoyance mobs I just said screw it and didn’t bother with it. A daily that’s hard (1m+ health or just requires more than one person) isn’t gonna turn me off. A slew of puddles with mobs that either daze or force me to swim turning a 3 min task into a 10 will.
No one forces you to sit in that capital, no ones says you MUST wait in Stormwind to get your queues done. Flying is about choice, why does me having the ability to fly suddenly mean that you have to leave the city. Is this a PvP thing?

Wouldn’t be many players , either. Why do you think they backed off “no flight?” Bc no flight = no players. At least not enough to justify continued investment, be straight to maintenance only.

Im not trolling my point is basically that flying renders everything meaningless besides major citys because of AH and symbolic value. They might aswell remove the world and make it a flat plane so we can get stuff done easy and without tedium.
By that example, you must really hate the Flight Whistle, which completely breaks immersion btw.

My point is this you dont want to deal with the world while playing warcraft since its tedious, you dont like unexpected pulls PVP and whatnot so hell why just fly make it so i can teleport everywhere i want at all times and bingo you can do your stuff fast and efficiently.
I don’t disagree with that. Saying there was no compromise is false though.
I dont like the whistle but im willing to compromise since i know going back to the million flight paths we have now is a struggle for some…
