In other news, Apple released $600 headphones

Heh, I’ve been using my Sennheiser HD 212pro for the last 10 years or so.

It is interesting that the german headphones are about the same price as apple headphones.

People should celebrate one of the few US companies that are actually making high quality hardware that people really want to buy and that rival or exceed samsung, lg, etc.

Well Apple sold a $1,000 monitor stand. Sounds like they’re giving you a good deal on those headphones.

This is the difference between Apple fans and the Anti-Apple crowd. The anti Apple crowd still remembers the old tv commercials with the accountant looking dude playing windows machines and think Apple is just “cool people” marketing. Add in people who focus on pure numbers (like the $1000 video cards no one needs) and you got the exact opposite of Apple fans.

I agree with Graff. I prefer how ALL Apple products integrate and work together overall. I wouldn’t buy these headphones though and I have two specific issues with my HomePod. I have used Windows longer than I have the Mac OS (both since the 80s) and I was an early adopter on Android (MyTouch) and never got an iPhone till the 6 series because the others were too small.

I specifically gave up on Android and Windows because of bloatware and ads that come standard on all of them. Sure you can remove them, but after doing a clean reinstall one day and being hit with 3 different ways to watch movies on my phone and all with ads or “buy me” popping up every minute, I switched to Apple and don’t have that kinda of low class advertising in my face every day.

If it means I only update my phone to the newest SE @ 399 every 4 or 5 years, so be it. Answering my phone on my Mac is worth it.

Same people who paid 500 to 800 dollars for a mount.

If they come with warranty and HQ audio while being comfortable to wear I might buy it .

Mopar or no car

Oh no!

Anyways…

Oh be honest, most of you kids still in school/just getting a job will buy these and keep expecting someone ELSE to pickup your healthcare or loan payments .

Ah, the number of millennials I know who refuse to pay their bills but are up to date on every latest “Apple product”. Who pays $150+ a month for a cell phone but won’t pay back their own debt… /oldfartrant

Apple prey’s well…

Let’s be real of you’re a fan of apple at this point you deserve to be scammed out of your money by them for their inferior products.

M1 > Intel.

Faster processor. Runs cooler. Tremendously better GPU. And if you care about it (I don’t) performance per watt is supposedly amazing.

Its easy to prove because Apple still builds both version in their Mini line and they MacBook Pro line. Direct comparisons available.

People false flagging, as usual.

Laughs in AMD

I don’t know anybody who does this. Do you?

You mean the chip that barely beats Intel vs Apples first attempt at a desktop chip since forever?

Yeah, lets see when gen 2 M1s come out in anything other than the intro level Macs.

Besides, the M1 still beats the graphics in the AMD chips. Still runs cooler. Haven’t seen the head to head yet but its a good time to be in the computing world.

Lol apple will never beat AMD in the CPU game, enjoy your $999 headset stand though.

People paid money? I just remember that one lady who sold herself.

Decided to look it up

Single core: Apple
On the other hand, the Apple M1 scores close to 1493, and the AMD Ryzen 4800U is at 1235. The Ryzen 4900Hs has an impressive 1284 score, and the Ryzen 4800H has a 1235 score.

Multi Core: AMD
For the multi-core score, the AMD Ryzen 4000 series is the best and offers incredible performance. The Ryzen 4800H and the Ryzen 4900Hs both offer above 10,000 in the Multi-Core score. Apple M1 scores 7634 that is actually faster than the 10th Gen 45 Watts Intel 10750H.

Geekbench 5: Apple
In the GeekBench 5, the Apple M1 is the fastest processor and has a 1733 score. Intel 11th Gen has a 1423 score, and the Ryzen 4000 is really struggling to keep up with both Intel 11th Gen and the Apple M1.

Good luck with your 2020 version of a K2 that does good on test but sucks in the real world

I did the AMD route before, as well as Cyrix. They never last

I love the integration between Apple devices. It’s great to be able to seamlessly swap phone calls, FaceTime calls, music, messages, web browsing, copy-paste, and so on while they are happening. It’s so convenient.

One of my favorite tricks is copying something on my Mac and pasting it on my phone. It’s instantaneous and seamless.

Now are there good non-Apple products out there? Certainly, and I use those too if they make sense. Use whatever works well for you and don’t just use something for the name.

See? Unlike the Anti Apple crowd, we will use what works while they can only foam at the mouth at how bad Apple is. And they call US a cult…
