In hindsight, the war effort kinda sucks

I’m sorry that your server is full of lazy raid loggers who obviously don’t care to open the gates despite having an enormous raid population.

You’re the one having a meltdown, friendo. This isn’t my QQ thread, I’ll be raiding AQ next week.

No, but that just means your population is made up of a more casual playerbase, and that’s why it’s not completing quickly.

Its not the population/popularity of the server, it’s the dedication of the players to get it open quickly

Apology accepted. In the future just don’t post if you have nothing useful to say, like others who’ve mentioned the “auto-supplies”.

I only posted here because you said something ridiculous. Don’t make ridiculous false statements and I won’t post!

Deal?

Like I said, substitute the word for whatever you want that makes sense to you.

I never said Fairbanks wasn’t a popular server, but regardless, our war effort is a snail’s pace.

@Delimicus

My point was that not all servers are equal, whether it be popularity, population, or general effort of the raiding population, it DOESN’T MATTER why.

But do go on, your strawmans are a good lesson to all who need an example of piss poor argumentation.

Confused: when have they ever done this (non crz)

Of course the war effort sucks. There is a reason they never did anything like it again.

They found reasons to combine servers and/or offer free transfers in the past. Specifically to ease into a gatekept event like this, no.

Better start grinding peacebloom op

I see now. Yeah was wondering how they could have done that at outset.

Raising the pop cap after removing layers tor example made matters worse.

Suxs if u choose a bad server to play on.

Blame the raid loggers on your server, plenty of less populated realms opening them.

Blaming anyone doesn’t get me access to content faster.

yes. its called dont worry about other servers. you chose the server you are on. dont like the rate at which your war effort is moving along? shouldnt have chosen a low population server.

seriously people. 2+2=4. actions have consequences.

War Effort starts to auto complete after 30 days, I believe at a rate of 1% per day, but that’s just what I’ve heard - nobody really knows the completion rate 'til we hit that 1 month milestone.

I’m surprised Fairbanks is going so slowly, thought it was a high population server. Guess people really stopped caring when they saw how easy the content is.

So go to your server discord and rally the troops mate

That isn’t a balance issue, it is a community organization issue. The materials needed have been known since day 1. Some servers began organizing to gather materials in preparation, and had their war effort done in hours. Others did not, and some, like the more unbalanced PvP servers, will likely rely on mats shuttled through the cross-faction auction house to friendly guilds or alts.

None of that is due to game balance. It is squarely on the communities to make the effort to complete the war effort in a timely fashion. Otherwise, eventually there will be auto turn-ins to speed things along, so, in the end, you’ll just need to wait a month or two and have someone ready to ring the gong.

Or, y’know, get farming, and start turning in mats.

Fairbanks has a coalition of scarab lord hopefuls purposely delaying the event.
Each server has a different community with goals that will make the war effort play out in wildly different ways.

Im excited to get into AQ myself but there is no need to rush this one time event and miss out on all the amazing world pvp interactions it has granted us.
We have years of raiding aq ahead of us but only a few weeks/months of the war effort and the unique community aspects it provides.

If you really want aq fast then rally up other people with similar interests and organize something. This is a social game where things arent just handed to you after all.

I definitely can sympathize with the smaller servers or servers that simply don’t care about opening AQ, but the war effort gets auto-completed in 30 days regardless and I have to believe there’s at least ONE guild and ONE person intent on doing the work necessary to become Scarab Lord and get their mount on every server, no matter how small. So someone will be working on or be ready to bang the gong when it auto completes on your server I’m willing to bet.

I’m on Herod. One of the largest pvp realms in NA. It took us longer than I thought to finish the war effort, but I think a lot of us suffered from the mindset that “someone else will take care of it”. For how active and large of a server we are, it was pretty surprising to find out pretty much no one had been stockpiling anything. We finished the war effort last Wednesday, and the gates open Tuesday at like 5AM just hours prior to reset, and rest assured…some of the sweatiest among us will be going into AQ at 5am.

How does one purposely delay the event? You cannot stop others from turning things in.
