Since 9.1.5 went live I’ve been having the unread mail icon show up when there is no new mail. One quick ask in general chat and it seems I am not alone.

If you’re missing auctions or mail, it’s a known issue. They’re working on it. Per a ticket response, someone else posted, they’re saying it may take up to 72 hours for mail to come through.
Experiencing the exact same issue here with the in-game mail icon. The mail icon indicates I’ve got unread mail, But when I go to check, There is no mail to open.
The only way to fix it temporarily is to open the mailbox a number of times until the icon vanishes.

Here’s the full post with the copy-pasted GM interaction. Other people have also tried purchasing an auction or cancelling one or something to kind of nudge things through. Hopefully by Tuesday reset they’ll have a fix or something.

Can confirm. Still bugged as of May '22.
It actually seems to be getting worse; there are times I have to open my mail a dozen times now just to get the icon to go away.
Same here. Usually involves mail from AH. They need to fix their game.
It’s definitely getting worse now…I opened my mail 50 times just now before giving up. Lmao.
Used to be 3-4 times would do the trick. Now it seems like I have a permanent icon.

Still an issue had an icon but no mail. Checked AH and nothing had been sold and pending.
