@ Forsaken heritage armor
If Iâd known they were going to do this I would have levelled my Forsaken while we still had the Diablo buff.
This is clearly Blizzard trying to milk me for character boost money

The nelf armor is going to be one of the hardest armors to actually create.
Kaldorei have way too many influences in their people. The armor could be sentinel related, could be druid or priestess related, or even something warden-esque, or the classic plate-kini from the warcraft 3 days.
I look forward to whatever it ends up being, especially as weâre getting more body tattoo customization as well.
I really like how this heirtage armor for the Forsaken was handled. I was afraid theyâd ignore the Lordaeron parts of it because many in the community hate Calia (even though sheâs literally the best undead character).
Glad they included the symbol, looks like a weird mesh of old and new.
I moved all my OG forsaken to Alliance where they enjoying their new lives as homeless NEs.
I just race changed the lock from Human to NE. Guess Iâm just going to start a new Forsaken, lol.
Sheâs a great lore character. She has a Naaru + the guy who created the paladins + she can control the Lightforged Draenei through Turalyon.
Sheâs so powerful (on paper) itâs insane.
(Also I bet she has more mounts than you Tovi )
I donât understand this.
Stop race-locking these armors.
WoW managed fine for 15 years without armor locked to one race and one race only.
And no it doesnât make it more special, it only means that the customization options for that armor is arbitrarily restricted ontop of the arbitrary restrictions that is class and armor âweightâ.
Thatâs because your horns block out her brainwaves.
I hope this also come together.
And can we, please, have a HD racial mount for Forsaken too?
Turalyon was a noble of Lordaeron and was sent off by her father to go through the dark portal and do that 1,000 year war thing. The one we read about in the audio novel.
Turalyon, being a noble of Lordaeron, was absent when it fell. Iâm not sure if they explored it, but Iâm inclined to believe that Turalyon feels bad that he was absent when the kingdom he was supposed to protect fell.
We saw in the novel Before the Storm, that Turalyon meets Alonsus Faol and fell to his knee in reverence of his old teacher. He asks him for a blessing as well.
Given thatâs Turalyonâs character, to fall to his knees at the sight of his old teacher. What would his reaction be when he sees the last royal of the kingdom he was assigned to protect? What would his reaction be when he sees the daughter of the king he failed to save?
Iâm just betting that Turalyon, being a noble of Lordaeron and given his reaction to Alonsus, would follow Calia since sheâs the last of the Menethils. He was the supreme commander of Lordaeronâs armies. He bent the knee to Caliaâs father. Iâm positive heâll do the same for her.
Also she has a Naaru and he loves Naarus.
So you have Menethil + Naaru, Calia tells Turalyon to jump and he asks how high!
(Thatâs my logic anywho!)
But their race has everything to do with heritage armor.
Definition of heritage:
" a personâs racial, ethnic, religious, or cultural background"
So it really wouldnât make sense.
That is, um, interesting head-canon.
He reacted pretty negatively to Alonsus before he moved past the whole walking corpse thing though, so I donât know that heâd be too quick to ally with the Forsaken, and he definitely hasnât gotten over the Horde yâknow, wiping out his country and killing everyone he loves, so that might be a sticking point too.
What? No thatâs stupid lol
The whole point of them is to give races identity. Stop trying to wash everything together. That just makes it tasteless.
Race themed armors are perfectly fine. We even had them for 15 years without being race lockedâŚ
I donât think heâd stop hating the Horde. He most likely wouldnât listen to anyone else on the Council, only Calia.
Heck, he may not even like the Forsaken. But Calia is different. She has Alonsus as an advisor + Saaâra. Iâm just betting Turalyon, the super light fanatic, will see Calia as an ally.
The races already have an identity, with and without race locked armors.
Dude, itâs one armor set. One. Out of hundreds or thousands.
Itâs ok if each race gets one set.
Except that itâs not one armor set, itâs now multiple.
I mean he might be willing to have tea with her or something but I doubt heâd follow her orders, especially anything involving military that could endanger the Alliance or favor the Horde.
You seen the factions lately? That is highly debatable.
