Improper ban for cheats/exploits

It seems I have no choice but to post here in an attempt to get a fresh set of eyes on my account ban. It is my main account that I have had since 2019 classic and it was recently closed due to cheats/hacks while playing on the Anniversary servers. I think it was incorrectly flagged as a bot account.

I know this isn’t the place to plead my case and I’m not here to do that. Players out there that have been banned like this before and once a person actually took the time to look into it it was fixed. That is my hope.

Your only choice is to file a appeal until they tell you they will not accept further appeals. No one here can help with your account ban.

This isn’t going to do that. Only an appeal will get someone to review the logs.

People review those appeals, until you are told that further appeals won’t be taken.

I will continue to appeal and hope for the best. I know post like this are annoying to see. I’m just a bit desperate/hopeless. My main account is gone and I’ve lost everything I’ve worked for in the game and I don’t know why.

That is not how it works. No one here can help you, you will need to open a new appeal ticket.

If you are innocent and were banned for cheats/hacks and don’t know why this is the only bit of info I can give you if you if you found this searching the forums.

I was a 60 healer spamming dungeons with my guild trying to get everyone geared for week 1 raid. We were burning all of our lockouts on things like Jed fishing. I think my account was flagged as a bot for doing too many dungeon runs in a 24 hour period. Good luck to you.

All appeals are read - templates are used to keep things straight.

That’s not how it works, nor there’s a set number of appeals to get what one wants. They only use templates and go by their logs. If their logs show that the account owner broke the rules, no amount of appealing will change that. Full stop.

This isn’t about shopping around for a ‘good’ GM, or trying one who’s in a good mood.
