Alliance own fault, and you guys actually have the terrain advantage and are supposed to win more often than not in AV… start learning the game like horde had to while getting destroyed by premades for months, now that there is none what did you expect would happen? Eventually horde will start to lose again because this wave of players will leave and the new ones that didn’t had to actually learn the game will take their place.
I’ve only won 1 game all week. Just got out of a game where Horde were farming us in our cave cause they had every single GY on the map.
Ever since the premade breaking changes alliance have fallen from their Trojan horse.
Horde had a long time preparing and endurance training since we never got the royalties or having premade abilities, we stand strong…
This is patently false. Both Iceblood and Icewing choke points are easier to hold as horde, because the closest graveyard is on the south (Horde) side of each. Iceblood is also superior to Stonehearth in that Iceblood has exits from the spawn spot to the north, west, and south, while Stonehearth is in a canyon where people can be boxed in and farmed.
Stormpike seems like it’s advantageous with the road and canyon leading to it, but that’s entirely deceptive, as it can be flanked on nearly all sides by a southern attack, because the high ground around it is readily accessible when coming from the south to attack it. Meanwhile, counterattacking from the Alliance base you either have to cross the bridge (choke point) or run around from the cliff down to the valley and back around the long way. Meanwhile, Frostwolf graveyard is just flat out in the open, and can be just as easily retaken by counterattack as it can be in the initial attack.
Now, the Alliance base is arguably more defensible than Horde, but in the grand scheme of things it’s largely irrelevant in the current meta. If either team is forced to solely turtle in base, it’s already game over and just a matter of time. It would only matter in the rush race scenario, which is presently irrelevant.
Not completely false IMHO, tbh Alliance cant afford to make 1 mistake and its gg. Alliance lose SHGY without having another foward GY its gg. If Horde loses ibgy (when we manage to get that) np they still can win, as a matter of fact they are still winning 95%+ of the times.
Since Tuesday I had 2 wins, and in the point of view of an avarage player, wich I am, I notice that the star must align for us to manage to win.
Its true what you said, there are a lot of toxic players who keep saying “omg 30+ min game let them win” But I think that one and a big reason to make some people really sad is the fact that still if we like you said spend over an hour in a tug of war we still most of the times lose. Turtle SHGY is buying our lose, try to break out and fail and lose SHGY = lose. Turtle at Stormpike GY, either lose to summon bosses or get backdoor in base.
In the end I think the players have their portion to be blamed of but honestly I don’t think its the only one reason.
Nothing is unfair about you exiting FOS and we enter it? It certainly is an issue.
Some of us rolled horde for the furries.
how to get 40 randos to follow that stratigy?
Could be that the Alliance is looking for Wins that are effectively handed too em…
Nah, that cant be it can it?
I appreciate your efforts but these horde players aren’t going to listen. 100% winrate makes some fine blinders. “Muhbridge”“lrn2play” etc. The layout favors horde. It’s that simple.
It’s not even just that. His strategy involves the Horde keeping little to no defense at IBGY and beyond. The reality of any game involves 20+ of them (over half of the roster) on defense, picking people off at mid and walling Galv/IBT/IBGY. It involves unreliable numbers of active players with the right classes and specs (i.e. healers). It also overlooks the need for any strategy to include one or both of 5-10 AFKers and frequency of matches starting with much less than 40.
nothing has change from the launch of av but the premades arnt there.
its just showing how bad the alliance is at pvp without being apart of a premade.
It is about communication you communicate to all.
You need to observe the battle and stir the alliance in the right direction. 2-3 people watching out for things and announcing in chat especially the Leader with raid messages. State goals as the battle evolves, once you cap one objective announce the attack on the next etc.
And keep an eye on what the horde does to be able to inform all and direct forces where needed.
Ask for people to report on times and call out attacks, if horde attacks the GY you are trying to cap you need to call it so people can react and come to help and push back. It is a battle…it doe snot play by itself…(well until people are pretty familiar with what to do at one point) but for now the begging some need to take the lead.
Yeah if we take anything horde show up to take it back… they wont even let us take LTs. We actually make a point to not take anything and just kill LTs. Some horde still stop us from doing that. Its what made me stop Q’ing up tonight. If the horde don’t want to let us at least get something for showing up then I’ll just stop Qing and make their Q time longer.
well that’s the problem, is that only about half of us want to win. The other half of us want to lose quickly because that’s how we max out our honor per hour.
If alliance spawned at the lumber mill after losing SHGY then the game might make more sense… However, Alliance spawn in BFE after losing their mid graveyard and are immediately put into an uphill choke that is practically impossible to get by. We’d have to rely on Horde not to camp the choke till cap and go straight to SPGY so we could skip by on the high side after a cave spawn. We have to literally give you the base to get past you… What is that?
Now, if we met in the field both sides could fight and the better team would eventually pin the other to their GY and over take it. There would also be risk and reward, send 15 to Galv or Bal and risk getting pushed back mid field? But no, Horde start with this reward, you already have us pushed into our territory at the start.
Horde is not good, their side of the map is.
Also, if you think we’re rushing Galv ever you are clueless. Do you really think we can afford losing 15-20 to Galv when the win/lose criteria is SHGY in the first 10 minutes?
Whoever say the difference is the players is just fooling themselves, horde is just as bad as the alliance full of back paddler and keyboard turners. The map is just $hit for ally. Horde Cave lol they get the SH at the same time we do, IBGY choke and dun baldar back entrance.
haven’t won in 4 days…really tempted to unsub. Horde clearly have an advantage. Maybe everyone should roll horde. So there won’t be any pvp ques at all?
Both sides are very capable of cheesing the generals.
Are you unaware that there horde also has a massive discord door coordinating games?
