Of course, i have figured that from 1-340 its just better to pay, smelt and resell after. However at 340… you have no choice to mine nods until 375. I have tried since 3 days to try different hours (5:00am), different maps, etc… whatever i get most of the time is one node for a full turn of the whole map. the fact that all Dks are mining and the massive bots must not help. but god, its just impossible for normal people to lvl up theses points, really a nightmare, im the only one in this situation? very depressive…

Are you on a mega or something? In my server it appears people have given up on strip mining Outland, I can always find something while out questing.
ya seriously just run the auch dungeons. they ALL have 2+ nodes in them every dungeon.

you can smelt eternium at 350 and then felsteel a bit later on. It’s tough. A month before the prepatch I spent over 20 minutes looking for a single fel iron node to go from 349-350
the problem with that is that the chance to have other people mining in your groupe are pretty good, so you run a 15-20 miutes dungeons and you are rolling theses 2 nodes on the dungeon, at least to be really lucky you could as well lose everytime the 3-4 dungeons you do and you didnt collect ONE single node in 60-90 minutes…
Just as a heads up, you only need to get to 350 of any profession, as the WOTLK levels start at 350 and not 375.
thorium hyper spawns in ungor oand rich nodes take you to 375. gl hf
You only need 350 to start mining cobalt in Northrend anyway so it’s only a few more points
