So any possible clues as to how to approach Blizz about this Zenetta? (Or even just open a GM ticket?) All I get are a list of FAQs- NONE of which address my situation.
I think this is your only option unless you can get a super rare blue response in the forums.
If you mean you tried to open a ticket but couldn’t find where, you have to click through a lot of crap to get to where it lets you actually contact support. I assume they bombard you with those things to try to reduce the number of tickets real humans have to read.

There is some SERIOUSLY bad advice. If you are suggesting getting the bank to do a chargeback I would strongly suggest against it. Blizzard takes a very dim view on chargebacks for legitimate purposes. They will lock your account until the chargeback is paid back. SERIOUSLY bad idea.

I got a generic response that did not address my problem at all. The GM message proclaimed that I was awarded ONE free day of game time!
I have replied to the GM re-stating my problem- this time with a screenshot attached. Hopefully they will actually READ my ticket this time.
That may well be their way of saying “no” while trying to sugarcoat it with a gift. Who knows.
I have no dog in the fight, but I’d be pretty surprised if they made an exception. It’s possible the change from BoA to BoP was accidental, but…it was probably intentional.
Could try posting in the customer support forum since there’s a decent amount of customer service rep interaction there or on the CS twitter even as well.
If your tokens were on a bank alt you could just move everything else off the character and leave the tokens there and transfer other characters off.
I made the mistake of purchasing them on my main. UGH. But then again, how would I have known about Blizzard’s downsizing realms when I started playing last June?

They could have done something simple like put back gold into your character for what the tokens were selling for and then transfer your character where you could re-buy the tokens on the new realm…but of course that would make TOO much sense.

What you just said is exactly why they are doing it… imagine how many people are in that boat. That’s tons of money going away for their bottom line.
