Important Question

Hey everyone, I’m debating whether to start fresh on the Anniversary Classic servers or jump into the Cataclysm Classic servers. ? Do the Anniversary servers offer a better experience?, or would I get more out of starting a character on Cataclysm Classic? im confused but am curious about your thoughts! = )

Honestly I’d start on the Anniversary servers, I’d of said Cataclysm but since the Anniversary servers are going to progress to TBC (and I assume WotLK) I’d go with that.

I don’t know how numbers will hold up though.

For me it came down to what I wanted to play in a year, TBC or MoP. I got to 60 on the Anniversary realms, there are lots of people around, so you won’t be short of things to do with people.
I’m now levelling on Cata, as I’m a lot more excited for Mists and hopefully more beyond that.

okay hold on so both classic servers are on a progression schedule?

Cata is progressing MoP, Anniversary is progressing to TBC, no info on whether it will go to WotLK yet.

Thank you!

If they do, they gotta tweak some of the changes they introduced into Wrath. I dont want ToGC like we had.

Cata is for folks who just went through TBC and wrath Classic, have established guilds and friend groups and lots of things acquired.

Classic fresh for newcomers IMO…

Original Cata was pretty good, just not as good as original Wrath. This classic version of Cata is absolutely terrible. You will have fun in the Anniv realms for sure. And you go into Cata…then MoP is even worse. MoP Remix was fun but regular MoP is not.
