not really, you can play normal games designed by non-pencil pushers who actually care about delivering a fun game immediately and progress the game
wow requires a massive time investment before you can actually start playing the game
100% agree, they want to sit in the capital and press join arena as the only form of content. I get not wanting to grind pve for gear, that much makes sense but cmon, you can’t be bothered to just play the new patch content?
That’s because WoW hasn’t been able to give us real content in a long time now. It’s all just rehashed “kill x creature, save x people, gather x resource”, rinse repeat. That’s not content, that’s chores.
You know what content was fun as hell and was actual content? Legion Mage tower.
Meanwhile, my new fav twitch streamer trillbartom is 100% mutilating people with 400 ilvl and only gearing through PvP and world quests.
PvE gearing is not keeping people away from their goals. Being a toxic PoS that leaves after a 1 loss 1 win, then whispering your DPS how much trash they are.
Ya know, instead of just playing 50 games and winning 35 out of 50.
Good luck getting instant gratification North Americans to do that.
I think it’s ok they give us a lot of content to do. I don’t think it’s ok when the content is extremely painful to do a second time.
I feel like if my character’s abilities did 90% of my damage instead of traits, essences, trinkets, corruption, and gear procs then doing the content a second or third time wouldn’t be so bad because you’d see your power level actually grow.
