Imagine not having a Tinker Class

A Tinker class could be made from reskin specs from other classes.
Tank - Guardian Druid
Dps - Demo Warlock
Heal- I am thinking Priest but I don’t heal >.<

i think they could be more akin to shaman utilizing drones or bots like totems.

Eh… Shaman totems are mostly utility and buffs in modern WoW.

Tinkers in WC3 would build Pocket Factories, which are really just glorified turrets.
Turrets are very different from Totems. Totems haven’t been static damage dealers for a long time.

Tinker as a class sounds super lame, sorry too goofy to be in wow.
Please no Tinker

They were legit already in WC3.
Just like DK’s DH’s and Monks.

We already have NPC Tinkers too.

Please yes Tinker

the shaman comparison was the closest thing i could think of that puts down support turrets. tbh i barly played wc3 didnt bother with reforged either.

I want to live out a ludite fantasy where I bully all the sci-fi fans by stomping on their tech.

not sure if you’re just trolling, when did the game ever had a tinker class ?
anyone holding a wrench is a tinker class ?
in WC3 we had chain heal and summon beast, i dont remember wrench toss being a thing
stop making things up, WC3 never had a tinker class, it had npcs holding a Wrench etc

Well, Tinker is pretty different from the Other Heroes.
Its the only Intellect stacking hero that is also Melee. Because it uses a Mech suit!

They Fired long distance missiles, and built turrets.
They were also really solid tanks.

Then in order for this to happen, There needs to be a Tinker Class in game, No?

same argument as pandas.
tinkers and pandas never existed, the link you provided refers to a tiny bit of content where you had a few npcs that were not even impactful at all in the story/game.
just stop.

Yes, please! Tinker is a class fantasy that would work well in WoW’s universe. The Guild Wars 2 engineer (and Mesmer, for that matter) is definitely one of the most thematic classes I’ve seen in a fantasy MMO.

I sadly don’t see it happening for WoW, because that would mean Blizzard has to actually acknowledge Gnomes and Goblins in a way that doesn’t relegate them to comic relief.

I did think about Shamans but their damage is not tied to their totems. So when I think about Tinker dps I see it more like creating turrets( imps), and then creating other types of mechs on longer cooldowns. Demo is the closet fit to that type of game play. Change out the wand/ staff for guns/ bows and there is a pretty good range class.

so healing bombs and healing turrets sounds like shaman is the closest thing we have in game to compare an idea like that.

FWIW my shaman comparison is soley for healing i was responding to who ever said priest idk about healing

Oh, I forgot about Shaman healing >.<

I am not sure I understand. They were a Hero unit in WC3.

You claimed they did not exist. They were. While I do not want to see Engineering dismantled for something that was merely added as a joke to WC3, the fact remains that they did exist as a playable Hero unit.

Stop what, exactly? Why are you upset?

They were literally a Hero Unit, usable by every faction in Multiplayer.

That would imply PVP, and PVP is for sci-fi fans.

Such a boring class idea.

I never played any of the Warcraft games sadly so I had no idea. But now that you mention it a class who uses a suit sounds like it would be one of the best things ever.
