Templates are a bandaid fix for vendors.
Ye outside PVE trinkets that played the game for you and CoS gear that made you passively tankier than raid bosses was rough.
I geared 2 eles within 2 weeks of being back to 400 ilvl and played them both to 2400 so didnt mind the gearing that much.
NON templates with Vendors would be BiS

Like imagine if blizzard went OH Harbingers is being equipped by melee specs and doing top 2 for their dmg. Dont allow that to be equipped. Nerf it.
Oh CoS absorbs x5 makes this game obnoxious and we dont have it on tourney realmsā¦ Mayb remove it from live tooā¦
Like its not hard. They just either dont care or are activision puppets that cant actually do their jobs cuz of corporate control.

Its funny how Kydrav and sticki both have 0 IQ about knowledge in PVP. Its no point arguing to them.

Vendors no templates would be best but itās like we currently just have the worst of both worlds and I donāt think s3 is gonna be any better with all the ridiculous procs from Pve gear in this new raid and dungeon plus essences
S3 will be the worst of the expansion

I do activities I cut the grass in my 1 acre of land. I cut the grass with the what ever machine its called. And also shoveling I do.

Just looking at loot tables available to leather there is bracers in the dungeon that has like a 1 min cd and puts a fire dot on players, thereās a 1h axe that puts a 3.4k fire dot on people for 4 seconds, if I take visions essence then I can proc demon form for 8 seconds like 3 times per minute and just randomly haste chomp people as dh, the nimbus bolt pants are prob still gonna be nuts, inkpod trinket is an execute once people get to 30%.
Thereās a couple items in the new raid that sync up and do things so if me you and say our third all have this ring on every 2 minutes all of our stuff procs some effect like haste etc. punchcard trinkets exist with some having stat swap procs and thereās a couple other items.
Thereās a lot more than I canāt remember, off the top of my head I remember thereās an agi polearm that does x nature damage and a crossbow and trinket that do the same thing but if the target was recently afflicted by a debuff from any of those other items then it does increased damage.
Plus all the nutty essences, there is just too much Pve gear to possibly keep track on
You literally link PvE sims as an end all b all conversation stopper for why 1 essence is better than another.
You want to talk about Sim dmg for free casting pve meters as your fact point on why lucid is better than blood.
I said Lucid is really good but blood has more potential for burst comps consistency especially when you want to kill in 2-4 globals and not over 12 seconds of free casting to get value.
You just respond with lucid sims higher its better and to āshow my sourcesā for why blood essence could be stronger. When your linking bloodmallet lol
You even dueled me to show me why lucid burst was stronger and proceed to hardcast lunar strike 3 times and burst me from 100-0 over 13 seconds and tell me āwell the minor didnt proc i usually get more starsurges cuz of thatā
Lucid is extremely good. It is. Rank 3 blood is just a bit insane for bursty comps. It adds a lot of consistency to strong bursts and even heightens the dmg threshold with the 25% crit dmg buff.
If you had a 100-0 dmg competition to see who can 100-0 someone faster which traits / essences / stats do you think they would take?
Blood or Lucid? For ele its 100% Blood imo because of what it does for ES / SoP SK consistency and thresholds.
Mayb boomy is really diff. Mayb ur not building burst and just looking at more starsurges. I think Boomy with 20% crit baseline / moonkin aura / blood would have very scary incarn burst as well as giving you another burst CD to use halfway through incarns CD window.

I am down the middle. Hated templates but honestly over this crap Iād take it in an instant.
Mop/wod though were my favorite by far. Wod in particular. Decent catch up mechanic with PvP gear being king in PvP?! What craziness that was! Only having to PvP with no AP island aoe grind fests or warfronts/mythics for gear?
