Imagine buying TGC mounts in the cash shop

Riding Turtle drops from Garrison fishing. It’s why Garrison fishing raids continue to be a thing.

Well, I have a spectral tiger and several other loot card rewards that I’ve enjoyed for nearly 15 years at this point, and seeing them simply put onto the store would annoy me. Not because more people would have it (I’m fine with that), but because the reputation associated with those items (super rare, envy-inducing, attention-grabbing, and somewhat mysterious) would transform into the same negative stigma that prevents some players (not me) from riding mounts they purchased. That stigma is that store mounts are low-effort, common-place, and likely to be owned by privleged jerks.

IF they are added to the store, a feat of strength should be added prior to their release and awarded only to the people who already have them. That’s the only way we will be able to prove to others that we did not buy ours off the store, but legitimately took the code off a card. That would reduce the stigma enough that I’m fine with it.

Money is easy.

We want your time.

And all the whining about “cash shop” exclusive content…

Agreed, bump the gold cap up to a billion.

This fits into the “pro” category. Annoying gatekeepers is almost always a positive.

I don’t know if it’s “pro” just because they spent a lot of money a mount but yeah I don’t really care. TCG stuff is silly to me.

$100 for a digital item? Screw that

If Blizzard puts the TCG mounts too the cash shop then all the players that complain about having to pay to win types will complain about it…just leave the TCG alone as they are…all though I am upset Chinese got the Spectral Tiger for free basically…and no I don’t care they had no access too original TCG cards that is not my fault or any other players fault…I have several TCG mounts and now one of them loses its special meaning now …so I guess when 2029 comes around and Year of Chicken comes up the Chinese players will get the Magic Rooster Egg too like the Tiger one they got this week…

As players we don’t know the trace of that funds, it could go to another proyects and not directly into WoW, we already have several store items, wow token…etc and there’s still a player base perception around several issues.

WoW doesnt have money issues.
What WoW needs is for its management to get their sh!t together.

Not because they spent money. It’s a pro if they get salty about it.

Oh man I forgot about the Grenades, that unlocked a deep memory about the MR T hand grenades lmaooo

I honestly don’t care if they repurpose the TCG mounts (it was pretty much gambling), but I will be pretty mad if they start selling mounts for $100 and stuff. That would be wild.

At the risk of sounding dismissive to those kinds of people… oh well.

I have a hard time caring about people wanting others to be envious. That being said I don’t think blizzard is ever going to do this

Quite a few of us would not care. I’d love to see this, actually.

What about the people who actually bought TCG packs legit when they came out just for that rare chance for a loot card that nobody else had? Because let’s not forget. Blizzard made exclusivity a thing in WoW, not the players.
