Its almost like bgs are completely randomly assorted teams with no MMR.
And even if both teams were premades there are good pvp players on pve realms because literally no one cares about world pvp

I don’t like FvF BGs and generally /afk out of them but one of the few I decided to actually play was on my alliance once where I was put in with a 14-man Pagle premade vs a 15-man Benediction premade and we (well the Pagle team) won, and yes with the way the queue matching works where they try to pair premades and where AvA games only really seemed to happen with premades queuing this was almost definitely true premades.
Anyway, that was just fun to see.
Benediction was likely not a premade. They make up at least 50% of every random BG I do. It’s a mega server, and just a pretend PvP one at that.

I understand that which is why I wrote a sentence explaining why it looked like a premade vs premade game. I could go on too, and link the blue post about the queue matching and explain how I know what a premade looks like since I’ve run with hundreds. The chance of that not being a premade and being just 15 randomly from Bene vs 14 from Pagle (who were a premade because they said so) and on top of that an AvA game with more horde queuing and WITH the queue matching put in place is probably like 0.001%.
I just wanted to tell a fun little story. Not sure what the point of your post was.
As for the general topic, I don’t think the server you’re from necessarily makes a lot of a difference. Other than the highest arena ranked players wanting to be on Bene/Faerlina which are both basically PVE servers. There are plenty of not great players all around.
You know just people they don’t like WPvP doesn’t mean they don’t like PvP as a whole.
You don’t join a pvp server because you like a good fight. You join a pvp sever because you get your jollies by smashing into an undergeared and underleveled peep and laughing to yourself because you’ve ruined that poor noobs poop collection quest.

this is what makes wow fun.
I was never quite sure of the link between ganking people 40 levels below youon pvp servers and one’s prowess was in BG was.
Okay…retail is the exception. in av and ashran I/we will in fact wait for tower holders and RoC runners to pull NPC agro. then I/we will kill them as they have our dps to deal with in addition to tower commanders or the ogres of ROC. NPC’s help you kill them faster, never a bad thing imo.
so the gank method of wait till the mark pulls mob agro then attack does apply.
I play on pve servers with a few years of wow pvp and 9 years of pvp in eve. I jsut got honest with myself. when it’s pve night…its all I truly want lol. pve server solved that dilemma. instance pvp…carebear in peace and quiet when not there.
