Weekly chest system isnt that bad. People put way too much focus on stats.

Not really. Stats are very important in some situations and their angst is justified.
E.g. My main (boomy) is so insanely reliant on a trait (streaking stars) that I’m completely unviable without it. It requires me to simply cast as many things as possible within an allotted time frame and thus haste is vastly more useful than any other stat.
Another example being for pvp, so many people focus/rely on vers that it’s almost mandatory. That and the fact that crits are so nerfed that it’s usefulness is drastically reduced. Or, to tangent off that, specs like Fire mage who don’t need crit at all because most of their skills/procs create 100% crit chances. This effectively makes Crits useless. Combust gives autos and gpy is static dmg.
These are why it matters. Some of the reasons anyway. And for what it’s worth, I don’t just mean matters from a min/max perspective. These are legit drastic changes.

It’s not even the stats that are the issues 100% it’s corruption effects that are so skewed on how classes do dmg.
Toss in then not being able to even cleanse that for bis stats.
Meanwhile someone else gets a max lvl bis stats with bis corruption effect that gives them a huge edge in PvP
Corruption as a system is absolute trash
The difference of pve parses legit comes down to corruption gear you have or don’t.
I’m pretty sure they made corruption so trash just to sell wow tokens for people selling boes on Ah.

weekly chest system is fine for now, its getting changed in slands, so complaining only allows u to vent in an echo chamber, u might be in to that i guess.

I don’t know why people always bring in the .01% when trying to debate for the masses. No, I think pika and them could still get R1 without it. I think the skill disparity is just that high. But I also think that gear can differentiate people much closer in skill. I also know that stats affect some specs far more heavily than others. So me responding to you claiming stats aren’t a big deal is justified. To some, they are. If you adopt that mentality, soon you’ll be saying “is 50k life really a big deal?” Is having 3% dr a game changer? All of these things in a vacuum seem minuscule but can amount to more than you’d assume. For pve it matters even more so.
Now corruptions matter a LOT. It’s not really debatable. And what is going to be better in shadowlands has nothing to do with what we deal with now or what we have.
The only thing you said that is true is that complaining won’t matter. It definitely won’t. But I wouldn’t try to convince people it doesn’t matter.

Yeah, you said it yourself, skill disparity will get you your titles. Get better at the game instead of finding a way to complain about ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ thing that held you back from your title.
Every single season its a repeat of some low tier player complaining about this or that is why they didn’t get their stuff. News flash, you didn’t get it because you aren’t as good as you think you are. Especially in the current game state. (This is for anything sub r1 range).

i mean, the difference between my two druid’s ratings last season was ~250-300 playing with the same 2s partner since i was missing out on a ton of haste and mastery

There’s nothing more tilting to me than getting a piece that makes me lose 3-5% haste and is an “upgrade”. 25% mastery is absurd, and I have that because that’s all that drops.

I don’t have to quote you. I paid attention to the context and meaning of your message. Stats are something people should pay a lot of attention to lol. Imagine a fire mage with your mentality equipping crit gear and nothing but it cause it’s on everything that drops for them.
