Yes, yes I feel out of touch. I’ll be 40 next year and I don’t know or care what any of those mean. I assume those people that use that lingo are 12 or under, or I at least hope they are that young.

Its like watching a music awards show after you turn a certain age. No idea who any of the people are and its kind of terrible music compared to even 20 years ago.

But in chat people want to save time. If everyone in their guild knows what “KFCOL” means, they’ll use it – forgetting that nobody else knows it.
I didn’t think of that, since I don’t watch streamers. But a lot of players do, so naturally they pick up (and use) things they learned by watching.
And English. People have been complaining about how “the young people are destroying English” for at least 100 years…
