Getting declined because of my raider io score

So apparently there’s a website out there that calculates your mythic score? I’ve been trying to get into mythic+ 10 groups and spend most of the day just getting declined over and over again. I asked a group why he declined he told me my mythic score is too low for a 10? Like what’s wrong with people? This website has got to go or banned by blizzard. I’m NOT a bad player at all like wtf?

In my experience anyone who throws in capitalism as part of an argument against something is a commie.

Oh and the addon is free, the website is free. Supporting it on patreon only gets you slightly more regular updates, which aren’t needed in the first place

All of them ultimately unneeded. There’s a reason addons are optional. Not a single one is needed to do what you want to do in the game. Players only fool themselves into thinking that they do need it.

Start small, and get +9’s on all dungeons. That alone will give you a score of over 900. I cannot tell you howmany times i have regretted inviting people with a low IO. They simply dont have enough experience with dungeons and the mob mechanics.

Im not into wasting my tine. There is a reason why my dungeons go more smoothly the higher my teams io score is. Its not coincidence. Once played with a 3k io score rogue for a +12 in frehold. The dude made it look like a cakewalk all by himself. And im not talking about damage i did as much damage as him im talking about the flawless mechanics in that dungeon. Having a good rogue can turn that dungeon into a complete joke.

And also, i never have any problem getting invited to groups whatsoever. If i do ill start queueing as a healer and bam im in. You jsut make excuses for being bad and or lazy

Thats not entirely true. Mythic Jaina? The way fights are tuned now? You need an addon like DBM/BigWigs etc etc just to deal with the incredible amount of input, or an extension to the time between raid tiers. For CE nonsense.

Define need here… the game is unneeded in life in general. You can survive without it. You could play the game without a keyboard. You don’t need a keyboard to play… so why have one? Its just an unneeded add-on to your computer.

We didn’t need a group finder in the game, but people made one through addons and 3rd party sites. Then Blizzard made their own… admittedly crappier version as part of the base game.

Because the need was there. The want was there. The desire was there. Or whatever term you want to use as a means of signifying motivation and importance to the individual and the group… was there.

People want more info on random pugs they might have to group with to complete a challenging piece of end game content that Blizzard has put as one of their highest difficult things. People do not want to waste time with strangers. They want a way to check their experience in a quick and easy manner. They want a rating system.

Ilvl stopped mattering because of titanforging, which meant you could no longer judge a players experience based on their ilvl. So someone made RIO.

Ilvl was added in cata because during wrath almost everyone was using gearscore, they used gearscore to get rid of the need to manually inspect a players gear before inviting them to pug raids.

Addons are created out of need.

Just as an additonal note: you know how quest markers show up on you map/minimap. Well that was added in wrath because by the end of BC everyone was using an addon called questhelper which did the same thing.

The only people it matters to is the players that really want it to matter.

We need measuring sticks for pugs when doing difficult content that can be failed, especially when failure actually reverses our previous progress (downgrading keys).

General rule of thumb for who NOT to get out of an LFG for M+

Players that whisper, “I’m good, trust me!” - No I.O. Score (These are the ones that whisper you when you decline them to tell you how bad you are. It’s super cute)
Players with “Swag” “Yolo” “Bae” “Fam” tied into their name or anything similar. (Personal preference here)
Players from Stormrage or Sargeras tend to have a higher chance to nerd rage for some reason. >.>

Groups you don’t apply for in M+ LFG

Titles saying, “Big D Dps ONLY!”
Titles saying, “Don’t suck or be bad!” - I.O. Score hovers around 350
Any group asking for a certain I.O. Score where they don’t even have the required I.O. score they’re asking for.
Groups trying to sell 10+ keys for gold when their highest player has a 1k score.

Look I don’t care what you do or what you think you need. But I’ll tell you factually that rio is and will be worthless. As soon as either the mod makers create another measuring stick or Blizz does something to make that addon nothing.

People don’t WANT to waste time with strangers who they consider unskilled - so they NEED a tool to help them do that. So long as that WANT exists… the NEED exists.

Until they change the incentives and structure of M+ and the key system, there will always be Raider io. It’s too costly for people to risk a bad group. And once you fall behind, you’re done unless you are willing to push a key from the bottom and have some friends to roll with. They could add some sort of autoqueue system where you queue at your highest key, and it just does an LFG automatically but it could get dicey.
