He literally said single warriors are often brought for buff coverage. That doesn’t mean the class is particularly any good, just covers a buff.

I was about to say Hunters are pretty low in participation from my personal experience, but I haven’t seen the logs themselves.

Have you missed all of what’s being discussed? Fury Warrior is falling way behind on what people thought was going to happen scaling wise already. Even after the big ilvl buff to ulduar gear. Fury is underperforming and undesired now, with the myth of “scaling” long gone.

no they are not, they are ahead of ret after even the ret buffs. They are doign quite well in the raids I have been in and if you go and look at warriors you will see a vast majority are doing quite well. We have anywhere from 2-3 fury warriors every 25 man I have been in, we do try and limit specs to just 3, but this goes for all specs. Also here is a sim that proves you are flat out lying.
Bro, you’re totally oblivious to what I’m talking about lol. Also comparing Pally to Warrior is not even in the same ball park. A class with TONS of utility vs a class that doesn’t provide something that someone else can do better.
Want a crit buff but want more dps? Bring a Feral
Want sunder but want more dps? Bring a rogue
Want a tank but one with good utility? Bring a Pally
Want a healing debuff? Bring a hunter or rogue
Want an attack power buff? Bring a Pally
Want to have bleed debuff? Bring a Feral
Want AP debuff to bosses? Bring a Prot/Ret Pally
Want a Debuff like Thunderclap? Bring a Prot Pally.
Literally everything a Warrior can do, someone with more utility can do it as well and or with better dps.

You can make a list like this for most specs.
No class is supposed to have multiple unique required raid buffs/debuffs that get them brought. There are some assorted other utility cooldowns that some classes can bring in addition to the buffs/debuffs, but by design you are SUPPOSED to be able to list out all of your utilities and say that you can get it elsewhere.
In wrath, you are supposed to earn your raid spot by being a strong player, not guaranteed one because of utilities (and warriors already have 1 that makes them highly desired).
The differences between the PvE damage specs aren’t large enough to be too concerned about outside of the top end speed clearing guilds.
Trying to follow their meta is largely a waste of time and energy for everyone else.

Why make the buff distinction for ret paladins given they’re non-pure dps? Paladin dps must be a viable PvE spec was all I heard to get them buffed.
