I don’t understand your position - have no idea if I agree with it or not.
The fiery enchant thing - I don’t get the point you’re trying to make out of that. No idea why that’s important to you.
BTW I don’t put effort into defending my position. I put effort into defining my position - thus listening and challenging arguments - you might have noticed I change my position too.
I’ll happily change my view if you show you are right dude, it’s not personal. Never is and never has been. I have a bias but I’m not on a team. Go ahead and make a cohesive point.
funny enough prot is harder to buff bc prot war is actually pvp viable. not super meta (right now at least) but could easily swing if they buff prot haphazardly.
best buff would be ardent defender/cheat death style ability, but that would have some pvp implications, likely. still, glyph of last stand could make last stand activate if you were about to die, ardent defender style, and it’s not like a prot war in arena doesn’t already have last stand, it would just prevent them from being 1 shot, so…maybe okay.
Have you tried playing pvp on a fury warrior? On paper it sounds amazing. However the only time it’s close to viable is in battle grounds with a pocket healer.
How ironic. Ret paladins were told directly they wouldn’t receive a buff then flooded the forums with tears for months on end until they got buffed. Now you’re whinging another spec is spamming the forums that you used in the exact same way to get your buff (and opened the can of worms in the first place).
Yeah, PVP is more than just doing lots of damage. Control is probably the most important thing. Arms just has better options.
Also consider Mortal strike damage to be equivalent to the amount of healing mitigated plus the actual damage done. That’s way more damage than you’d get from removing or lowering the 10% damage debuff from Titans Grip.
Removing the 10% damage debuff from TG may or may not be necessary for PVE but it has no meaningful impact on PVP - so that’s not part of the equation.
Rets and Ferals get a buff and then hard gatekeep the door - the two most utility overloaded classes now get dps buffs and then complain when others want to follow their footsteps.
Why shouldnt a low utility class like fury be performing better than utility overloaded classes like paladin and feral?
There has to be some give and take to desirability to be taken into a raid.
I honestly wouldnt care about that, just make warrior good at something instead of mid at everything
tired of hearing about these sims that dont exist - i have a huge hunch all of these simmers are gonna have a rude awakening when they realize warrior sims are lie that assume 100% uptime on slam procs
I’ve been running my own sims and Fury isn’t simming well. It’s pretty average.
Similar to this phase, they’re badish until they get a BIS weapons then they’re okay. Weapon damage seems to be the one factor that really has a big influence on Fury damage relative to other classes. That and fight mechanics - the cleave damage is good.
