So, I have been operating under the idea that ROS, from 100%, would keep me safe. I was wrong. 
603,572 damage in roughly 5 seconds with no crits. I’m glad it’s getting nerfed. Yes, I get that it’s Pika. Yes, I get that it was Shadow Blades + Secret Technique. Yes, this was 2s for fun. Still impressive.
Arena sure is fun.

Uh. Under reacted. Issue is, he would have still had duel and bomb. One of us had to trinket and it likely would have needed to be my priest. I save ROS for Secret Technique and was at 100% health. If I overlap ROS and trinket, I’m 100% dead the next go if I don’t get externals. So maybe I could have trinketed there and feigned and let my priest save trinket.
My guess would be he would immediately toss me in a duel if the priest trinketed though. I still would been low. Given the other DPS didn’t even do anything, says enough about Subs setup. My guess is pika would have blown evasion/cloak early to avoid CC if I did trinket.

I don’t think I’m buying some of these justifications. Like sure, you could have lived if you trinket CS and turtle. But if your two options in response to CS are either (1) trinket and invuln or (2) die, I think there’s at least one gear pushed a little too far.

That would be a reasonable take and I do agree. When trinketing guarantees I die vs. rolling the dice and hoping I don’t die… not a great design.

If there were clear cut answers to Sub it wouldn’t be dominating in the AWC like it has been. Let’s see if these secret tech nerfs change anything (feeling very doubtful).
Yea, don’t see it changing much. Given people are still getting gear and optimizing pieces, I’m sure damage will continue to outpace vers/armor. Also, sub is pretty greedy right now. The fact they aren’t even waiting to get a target to a certain % before their goes says enough.
too many mouthbreathers responding dont understand that sub rogue is just a giant sword of damocles on your trinket. if you press trinket against sub your just gonna lose next stun dr since your going into duel/bomb.

Yea, I’m not sure any other outcome would have been better unless I had prewalled as well. If I trinket that, My guess is even without offensive CDs, bomb + duel would be enough to kill me. Then it’s just the off DPS getting CC on my healer. In this case a destro lock. So coil + fear on duel would make this pretty easy.
Not that’s it’s completely unwinnable, but it really relies on the rogue making a mistake.
