Like I can’t seem to stop logging back and forth between them. I want to commit to one but they are both fun, and the spell kits for both in wotlk looks super fun.
I don’t care about fotm, just flavor and the fun of the playstyle. With that said, do you folks have any advice/opinions on which of the two classes is more fun? I like casual wpvp/BGs, some pve and the possibility of pulling off some cool plays if I learn the class.
I’ve mained a druid for classic and tbc. I am planning on playing 2 characters in wotlk; my druid and…something else.
I think my aim is to play the content on a casual level. I won’t be buying gear or raiding with folks who are playing hardcore. Some coworkers and friends just want to run the endgame content when we eventually reach max level.
For PvP elementals shamans are broken in the 3v3 and 5v5 bracket, and the only they aren’t in 2s is because holy paladin/warrior is more broken than tbc priest/rogue in 2s.
Destruction warlocks are also extremely fun in PvP. There will be more raid spots overall for warlocks but you can find a guild that will take a shaman, just might be more work and patience, they won’t be like rogues finding spots in TBC.
Decision is simple imo either you wanna dps or you want the flexibility of a shaman hybrid roll. I’d pick lock personally but could totally understand why you’d wanna go sham. Really boils down to the dual spec of your choice tho IMO.
