Let’s hope it doesn’t break more than it tries to fix. If microblizz cannot keep access to the game open then we deserve a refund. We deserve a free month for all the crap this expansion has broken.
I guess no one with talent wants to work for microblizz.

They don’t need to acknowledge it, best part of having no competition. Look at the dumpster fires going on in D4 and OW right now. They are desperate to save those game because competition is forcing them too. Where are you going to go if you quit wow? They know there is no where to go so they allow things like this to happen over and over. BLIZZARD DOESN’T CARE

I canceled my sub last eve and I’ll wait and see if they treat this like they did the guild banks. This game is broken beyond repair.

Isn’t that funny? The team hasn’t posted one thing on the forum about the issue. Why do they even have CMs? Just let the AI take over at this point. They only post patch notes anyway.

Not sure why you think people playing an MMO are locked into only playing other MMOs, especially WoW which is probably closer to an aRPG than a traditional MMORPG now lol.

Or, and hear me out here, WoW is a very old game which is prone to issues like this, and while the season certainly has a lot of controversy with how things have gone so far. It certainly hasn’t been the first nor will it be the last time something like this happens. This happens pretty much every single expansion at some point.
So why are they sticking around if there are soooo many problems? If any other mmo on the market had the issues wow does they would fold instantly.

I don’t, why are you still here whining? Ask yourself the same question lol. It’s not for lack of options, people only use that as an excuse, it’s because they either still like the game or cost/sunk.
Oh well i’ll wait for the 1-hour shutdown then.
And while we’re at it, my 2 cent on the cause of this issue is that because MS/Blizz has decided to do away with the QA/QE/QC/however you call them, there’s now an issue of maintaining code/business validation quality.
I don’t know what production testing process Blizzard does, but I work in delivery for a very ahead of the curve (not related to the AOTC achievements of course) bank in terms of technology, but they should have at least run 100% of their automation test scenarios during BVT/TVT, because non-prod testing are where people are really careless.

Looting bosses seems to be dc’ing people and not letting them back in because the game still thinks they’re online (“Character with that name already exists”). Also reports of folks not being able to port into instances, or getting ported out and not able to re-enter.

I tried zoning out of the Warlock Class Hall, and it sent me to Stormheim… 100 feet in the air. No gliders on that character. lol

This is true to degree but EQ is older still and they don’t regularly break their own Game as WoW seems to do -not trying to “fight” ., but the “defense” that " it happens every xpac" isn’t a “defense”., its a passive admission to incompetence on Blizzs part.
