I'm ready for a new MMO from Blizzard, without Activision

The fact is BFA is bad, millions leaving

Are they?

Based on what?

BFA got off to a shaky start, sure, but the fun is only beginning, and some issues notwithstanding, I am starting to enjoy the expac. Theres a lot to come yet…

The most toxic forums on the internet? Have you been on any other forums besides the WoW forums?

Yea, gta forums are pretty toxic. I don’t go to reddit much but I hear that’s toxic as well.

Based on there was 12 million subs now theres around a quarter of that…

And your source on these numbers is…?

I would like a Diablo MMO.
Or a solo rpg that is like wow in that it’s perpetual and doesn’t end.

I hope they resurrect Starcraft. Show Starcraft some love!

I’d take an rpg that has a nice blend of worrying some about stats/action.

Take for example the more current Fallout games. Fallout 3/NV are a mix of action and rpg with NV fitting the rpg aspects stat wise more than 3 did (that and story wise it felt like you could branch off as more as well). Then you move onto 4 and they mostly threw out the stat aspect and went almost full action with fallout 76 doing mostly the same thing but slightly taking a step back and fitting the SPECIAL stats into some various aspects.

Wow as it is now sort of feels like its mostly in the same setup less emphasis on having to worry about stats and more on the combat. Sure you still have secondary stats to worry about, but it doens’t really feel the same with only a small amount of things to keep track of.

All the good devs are gone, the current game devs were the real devs coffee boys.

Yea, go back to school if you believe that. How can you people be so naieve?

No, I’m honestly done with blizzard games. It’s more than enough that I spend the time I do with wow but once that is done I am done for good. They’ve shown to me what kind of a company they are these days.

I get where you’re coming from OP, but there is no Blizzard. The origninals that put their heart and souls into WoW have moved on, hence Blizzard is just a moniker that is abused for extra sales that Activision surely doesn’t deserve right now. I don’t even have confidence that they can reproduce Classic WoW properly.

Once WoW is done, I’m finished with MMOs forever.

I don’t want a new MMO. TBH I don’t even want WoW in its current state anymore. Playing a AAA game in 2019 is a depressing experience. Limited-time rewards always make me feel like I’m playing on the game’s schedule (rather than my own), and I’m tired of everything I buy having a cash shop that asks me to buy more.

Blizzard will never make a game as good as it once did. It just can’t. There are too many hands in the cookie jar now. Devs apparently think making people play longer and pay more, regardless of whether or not they are actually having fun, are the only two things that matter. Either that or their hands are tied by their accountant overlords.

The denial is strong in this one. When they go F2P he’ll still be defending.

That was the top; they bought in, and ever since then it’s gone downhill.

As soon as you can post facts or actual numbers, let me know. Untl then all you have is a guess.

You dont know.

Still waiting for proof.

From what I understand Activision is pushing Blizzard to cut corners at every turn in order to save money and gets things going so they can show shareholders.

You can see how this has hurt the game over time by just looking at a graph.

When Activision wasn’t a part of Blizzard we got quality gameplay, the devs cared. Activision has poisoned Blizzard imo over time and I guess at this point we can’t ever go back to what Blizzard was before Activision.

How many times does this have to be said.

Activision does not tell Blizzard how to run their games.
