Yeah like it or not, Activision doesn’t have much to do with Blizz. Sad to say but all the butchering of our Blizz games have been because of Blizzard.

When people talk about “Activision”, they are not talking about the game developer per se. They are talking about Bobby Kotock and others from Activision that became leadersship of Activision-Blizard when Vivendi merged Activision with Vivendi Games. These former executives of Activision do have a geat say as to what goes on at Blizzard.

Thanks for this but it is not the first time me an Aehl have been down this road. We have a long hisory of being polar opposites…on this subject as well.

won’t happen, to make it happen you would need to buy blizz out of activision merger. This isn’t bungie situation where it was a simply publishing contract. Blizz and activision merged with activision as majority partner; essentially activision owns blizzard.

Nope. They dont direct Blizzard game design and never have. Blizzard runs their own show and always have.

2. Activision has an office in Sydney, I had occasion to talk to them on an unrelated matter and they said the same.

Because they’re upset and they don’t know how companies work, that or trolling, you can guess which one it usually is. It’s usually legitimate complaints that are reaching for an irrational explanation. I get why it happens, but I would be lying to you if I said it wasn’t a little frustrating sometimes.

Nah, I just want the Diablo Devs to be removed from WoW. After all, Activision bought Blizzard in 2008, and that was during WotLK of the Lich King, and boy, was that expansion really good.

If they bought it during Wrath, then that just means they hadn’t yet had time to really sink their hooks in and Blizzard was able to work without their full input yet.
