On another note, ‘Legends: Arceus’ looks very cool. Massive open world. Probably nab that one, when it becomes available.
If you have Mew in your team, why bother with Alakazsm? Or viceversa.
Go with Gyarados, Lapras or Vaporeon.
I’d change Pikachu for Zapdos as well
Gonna buy a second switch so my wife and I can play the pokemon diamond and pearl remakes later this year. It was our first pokemon game together. Sentimental value.
Mew can learn any move in the game. He is my HM pokemon.

Shiny starmie is hands down in my top 5 of all shinies. I practically always include one on my teams now no matter the game
I agree with Vaporeon or Lapras as well for final spot. I really like hitmonchan as well for all the punch type moves.

Went pikachu because of sentimental reasons. One of my friends passed on and he was a pikachu maniac. So pikachu is always on my team, in honor of him.
The Pikachu has to become a Raichu.
He’s super cute and chonky and you don’t have the lightball crutch to worry about.
I always evolve pikachu, but regardless, there is always a pikachu in my playthroughs.

I have ultra moon in my 3ds. Just feeling old school and playing red. My wife has blue. Starting to feel old. Lol. wiggles toes
My wife doesn’t care for blue. She says it’s a bit archaic. She’s right, but I have fond memories of it. One of the last gameboy games I played before I joined the military.
Oh, I’ve played Blue and Yellow too. Silver and Crystal is where it’s at for me for old school Pokemon.
I’m just catching up on the generations I didn’t really play yet.
Skipped silver/gold. Picked up a GBA and got sapphire for those CQ duties.
I liked Gen 3 too. I had Sapphire, but Emerald was pretty lit, and I remember it fondly.
If I had waited 3 months. I could have gotten emerald. But I didn’t know.
