My gf got invited to a BFD raid because she wanted to gear her rogue. Mind you we wre already 7/7 multiple times, but they kicked her due to her “parsing” not being great on some website.
Ive also personally experienced a 7/7 clear no wipes where the tank replied at the end with, “Thx 4 the **** dps group! <3”
These people need to not touch grass, but start pulling it up in chunks and taking it home with them.

So much to unpack here. First is that no one can steal your mob because it’s not yours until you claim it. Second is that the insane requirements for raids are to keep entitled people like yourself out. I know you’re entitled because you think you own mobs just because you’re moving to their general location. The insane requirements that you have a problem with is do some quests for gear, run a few dungeons, and spend like 50s on a consumable. You think that’s outrageous for people to expect, so much so that you want to ban (presumably) selling Cobrahn drops too, as if every level 25 can’t solo it since you only need to kill a few mobs to get to it and jumping off the cliff resets the mobs.
It’s not a crazy position.
How do you steal someone’s mob?
Either you tag first, or they do.
Here is something that might work for someone like you, I’m sure you’ve used this tactic irl.
Run around and lick all the mobs so nobody else will tag them.

You do what I did. Follow behind a group of 5 into Stonewatch keep. Tag the mob right before they do and then do nothing as they kill it for you.

You need to realize that none of that stuff matters. Gold farmers and bots wont effect you at all.

As someone who regularly tanked GDKP’s in classic, and who really doesn’t care much about GDKP’s now, you should at least acknowledge the argument.
Most people arguing against GDKP’s are arguing that it affects the wider server economy. Therefore, arguing that you can just not GDKP and it goes away isn’t really dealing with the argument.
If raiding gets taken over by GDKP, then raiders are going to be walking around with a whole lot of extra gold. It’s not ridiculous to claim that it’ll likely drive prices for raid consumes and other items through the roof.

I’ve played this game on and off since 2006. I’ve never experienced this degree of just flat out ill-mannered player base until now. Yes, there have always been jerks. Yes, there have always been ppl out to make others irate, but the sheer number that is rolling around now is brain cramping to comprehend compared to any other time I’ve played.
