or that but they seem to have decided on layering over sharding for first 10 levels. They must have reasoning behind it but protest it, youll have my upvote
initially we weren’t going to have sharding at all.
then we were going to have sharding in low level zones only.
now we got sharding everywhere.
who says they don’t move the goal posts again?
As someone who refuses to play on private servers, and dislikes current retail WoW, I will let them shard my mom’s house if it means I get to play classic again, and on an official server at that. I’m friggin’ stoked.
Boy oh boy! “I’m running away from home, this isn’t fair!!!” posts sure are tiring. I think I may need a nap. You see OP, naps always make me feel so refreshed. Something about a nap just gives me mental clarity and magically takes away any grumpiness I had before taking one.
How about it OP? Think you may need a nap?
I’d suggest a warm glass of milk before you lay down. Something about it just makes my naps so much better. I really think you would benefit from a good nap OP.
the ressources are proportionnal to the amount of players around.
if there’s 4 layer going out, then there’s 4X as many player on that server, which make the demand 4X higher. I’m sorry if you planned to run some mafia on a specific high-demand TS mat (granted, you likely aren’t alone hoping for this).
as for PvP, there will be plenty of it ( until BG come out, anyway)… each layer having a normal load of players… and it’s only a fringe issue in rare case you’d want to meet a full raid force on another layer ( but even then, you just need the extra step of getting invited to that layer). On the plus side place like Tanaris won’t be a perpetual lagfest for the first month with 30 people sitting on rooftop sniping people, and you may actually be able to achieve something in STV.
All the people on the hype train that bounce from pserver to pserver will definitely leave. Planning any sort of long term high pop is unrealistic. They could always add caps though I guess? Instead of layers you could wait in a queue.
