This was the main feature I have been looking forward to since classic started and leaving it out is a huge buzzkill and major mistake. All the people crying to keep it out of the game, I have a question for you. Why do you care so much about how other people enjoy the game that you cry about a feature that nobody forces you to use? And before anyone chimes in with the same recycled “go play retail then” rhetoric, LFD was a big part of WotLK’s progression and gave casuals and people limited by time constraints something reasonable to do in the game. Beyond that, many of us don’t like the direction of retail and enjoy the look & feel of the classic era games more, so retail isn’t a valid option. There was nothing stopping anyone from being social with LFD in place, but without it, you’re cutting off many people’s ability to reasonably progress through dungeon content. This will also make heroics more of a nightmare because pre-heroic gear will be much more scarce. It’s a bad change and I’m not here for it.

dual spec and LFD are the reason why I wanted to come back for wrath. I will once again unsub and find something else to do with my time other than waste it

ICC was a big part of WotLK’s progression. And trying to find groups was a nightmare before it was implemented, and one of the reasons why I fell off of Vanilla Classic and TBC Classic, because I just don’t have it in me to sit around for 3 hours to find a group to maybe complete a dungeon because I don’t happen to be playing the right class/spec/server/faction. Honestly LFD is one of the best features that’s ever been implemented in any mmo, and stands as retail’s only decent aspect.

This is exactly the point, I have no idea why people are freaking out so bad about the LFD, when they can still play just as they have with TBC, its literally just QoL

The fact they have to reconsider it at all is insane. These people don’t play the game, obviously. They are still debating dual spec. how TF are you even thinking about not putting dual spec in the game

Every patch had its own series of progression. Dungeons & heoroics were progression. Naxx was progression. Ulduar was progression. ToC was… ToC. And ICC was not insignificant progression. LFD should’ve been implemented earlier and would’ve made progression to previous tiers more fluid, as it did with ICC.
And some of it is apparently a little fuzzy because I obviously repressed pre-LFD memories.

It’s ok because they got extensive feedback from level 10 trolls who may or may not even play classic on these very forums who assured blizzard that lfg was what made the game bad and to not add it to keep “the community” aspect

You may not be the target audience of the Classic franchise then.
Ion did mention that Dragonflight will have LFD, so that’s always an option for you.
