Like, the average Jo’oe of Azeroth is only entitled to one death.
If you die again you get no more afterlife, forever
Of course, us players play by different rules, but that’s because the spirit healer keeps saying it’s not our time yet. As soon as she decides it’s our time, we are out of luck lol
All the afterlives they showed us suck too. You get memory wiped and turned into a mindless slave, you are forced to fight for eternity and if you lose you’re turned into a monstrosity, you’re tortured until you’re deemed fit enough to get sent to one of the other places, or you have to be around creepy moth faeries forever.
blizzard did a terrible, terrible job with shadowlands, and because of that there is alot of things people will never know, or never see. it was a huge blunder for them and a good reminder of why you need to never half do an expansion.
If a Mortal dies, they go to the Shadowlands and become a Shadowlad. If a Shadowlad dies outside the Shadowlands, they return to the Shadowlands. If a Shadowlad dies in the Shadowlands, they die forever.
If a Demon dies outside the Nether, they return to the Nether. If a Demon dies in the Nether, they die forever.
It’s basically the same thing except Demons don’t get the one free death Mortals get.
It’s different cause demons can leave the twisting nether.
Shadowlads ‘generally don’t’ with more exceptions to the rule than I can fathom (kyrian ascended, mawsworn ascended, apparently Ysera). But no I’d imagine they become 35 anima power when they die anywhere once they’re a shadowlad.
i thought if you die again, your spirit/anima dissipates, and you become one with the cosmos? or like, you get sent to your specific afterlife… or maybe reincarnated or something.
