You seem angry maybe it’s time for a break from the forums.
People don’t like M+. That shouldn’t trigger you so hard.

Part of me was kinda hoping in Legion their rework of dungeons would mean more mega dungeons ( BRD/UBRS/KARA style ) and we did get Kara for awhile, but then they doubled down on the action/gogogo/esport vibes - and here we are today.
The “u mad” response stopped being trendy like 8 years ago my man.
I have no issue with someone not liking m+.
Stop being mad because I think classic/SoD are horrible.
I can play this game too.
I like the crest buff for S2 cus ima be grinding my butt off. I probably wont enjoy it, but Ill do it for the sick goblin stuff than abandon it like a dead beat dad.
Based on what I’ve read, I won’t be doing that either. I don’t like sky riding as my 70 year old reflexes just aren’t up to it. I like moseying which is why I stay out of the number one lane of the freeway.
If the only way to navigate Goblinville is to use that driving system, then I’ll play some other part of the game and/or leave. I’m not going to ask Blizz to eliminate it as I’m sure many, many folks will love the new system as they do the newish flying system.
I’m not mad you replied to me. What?
Definitely a mad reponse.
I’m so confused.
Ok.
I will break it down.
You called me mad for having a different opinion than you. I am poking fun at that mentality, by calling you mad for having a different opinion than me.
If me calling you mad for no other reason than you liking something else is a confusing play, because it makes no sense…then consider your original take on me being mad.
I suppose. I can see at least the idea of making more drop at higher difficulties, but the inflated numbers on failed runs seems absurd, since they hit a point where you get more crests off of bricked runs than cleared raid bosses.
It really should’ve come with at least addressing the fact that progression raiding can’t keep pace with crest cap until being at least 6/8 though. That’s definitely the activity with a crest issue.
oh yea they should buff raiding instead of assuming all raiders are fine with m+.
People who only raid shouldn’t be at such a disadvantage.
Community problem, not game problem. Next.
Surprisingly (Or not). A game (Classic) whose entire mechanics are less than a single pull of any M+ nowadays.
A game, where you spent more time in world than in instancies cause you take 20 mins to walk from Barrens to Orgrimmar. Disgusting.
Classic evolved cause eventually it had to. You don’t like retail? Well it’s okay, go back to Classic and stay there. You have SoD
Depends on how fast you want to gear yourself. Because you also can just go and do Raid content with your guild for example, you will have 3 slots available on Weekly Vault and another 3 on Delves.
No one is forcing you to do M+, unless what you want is being able to get Myth pieces without any effort. And try to be as geared as possible without doing any effort.
If you don’t enjoy M+ it’s okay, go play SoD, collect mounts/pets, get the Loremaster achievement, do some PvP… WoW offers you so many ways to do endgame content.
Cause back on classic it was raid or nothing. And sorry, i can handle easier with 5 ppl even 15 than with 40.
That’s a really good idea tbh, better than the “Destroy M+ gameplay and design” mindset
This would save retail for me. I just don’t like modern WoW end game because M+.
If you didn’t need m+ for crests, would just raiding be a viable path for CE at end of tier?
I think it would be great if people who only raid get CE slower, but still possible.
I’m in no position to disagree with you as I haven’t raided as a guild member since Wrath. My current perspective is as an open world solo player and there are no “obligatory” elements of the game for me, well, other than logging on. For those who take on such burdens as gateways to doing what they enjoy, then it makes perfect sense and I hope they are enjoying it and the guild is supportive of it.
Part of your claims are subjective.
Everything becomes overly optimized, streamlined, and business. No messing around, no having fun, no spacing out, no taking in any casuals
My friends and I goof around a lot and have fun in the dungeons. Sometimes we do stupid pulls and goofy tactics on a whim. We’ve also joined low level keys just to give some carries before.
So I’m going to have to disagree with you on that front.
If you didn’t need m+ for crests, would just raiding be a viable path for CE at end of tier?
No. M+ is where you get most of your gear.
Most CE players, during most of progression, are mostly wearing gear sourced from M+.
People look at my 4-piece and think “oh that came from raid”. LOL no it didn’t, it came from the Catalyst, pumping up pieces I had to get from M+.
People also hyper-focus on “but there that 1 good trinket from raid”, ignoring that the other 15 gear slots are coming from M+.
Sorry man. Looks like from these replies, blizzard has brainwashed their slaves into berating this kind of fun-focused thinking.
I don’t think they even realize that through M+ they’re not even having fun anymore. They’re just chasing a carrot like good little rabbits.
Just seeing these basement dwellers defend their position makes me hate the community. We already have enough of a rat race in the world today and they want to emulate that in a video game?
Absolute sheep.
Unsubscribe, that’s the best you can do.
Unplug.
Find me a Cutting Edge Mythic raiding team where nobody does M+.
You can’t use that argument cause any Cutting Edge Mythic raiding team is gonna do all what is needed to get 0.5-1 more ilvl point, cause everything counts.
The fact of these Raids taking a Monk on their set for RWF doesn’t mean Monks are in a good state, means that give a buff which want to take advantage of.
So, It’s a bit of a fallacy
Much as you might be incapable of it, plenty of folks can play the game well enough to enjoy doing challenging content.
Do see yourself out though.
