I'm having an amazing time in Wrath

With all the doom posting going on, I figured I would share some positive experiences in Wrath. My main is a resto/boomkin druid and he just hit 79. Yeah, I know, I’m behind but thats ok.

I’ve taken my time and savored all the nostalgia Northrend has to offer, plus I did some fishing and cooking along the way. Originally I mained a DK so going into this I wanted to main something I had not tried before. The LFG system is meh, can take it or leave it. Its worked so far and I’ve gotten into groups at all hours of the day and night , so no real complaints.

When I do finally get to 80, I’m going to run heroics, level fishing and cooking, send every 70 alt a flying tome and go alt crazy. Oh, and maybe hit Naxx a few times to rekindle the nostalgia from back in the day.

Lets hear some positive stories coming out of Wrath!!

I just dinged to 77 myself. I havent bought dual spec yet as 1,000g is kinda a big chunk - i did use that 1,000g to buy cold weather flying and WOW its sooooo much better to do quests now. I love the cold weather flying!

I just got 80 the other day. I maxed cooking, herbalism, alchemy and took fishing from about 300 to 440 so far. Wasted the cloth and got First Aid maxed for kicks. Hate having skills not at cap.

3 more zones to go, groups when I feel like and the guild I’m in has started to do some of the raids as well. Plenty of stuff to do and having fun with all so far.

This rogue is my main. Got full 70 pvp gear going nuts in AV last night and good experience.

Leveling all professions and lock picking and having a blast! I plan on getting an arena partner too.

I mailed warrior back in the day and told myself play A different class main. And damn, it’s great.

I’m having fun. :slight_smile:

Got to 80 three days ago. Been running daily pvp, and a few heroics. Only raid I’ve been in had been a 25 man VoH because they needed rogues. I haven’t gotten much gear yet so I barely out dps the tanks. But nobody has thrown me under the bus for my garbage dps, and I’ve basically thanked everyone for the carry.

My only complaint so far is finding a guild. I’m a filthy casual and only play a couple hours a night, so I’m looking for a casual guild and I haven’t found one yet. So far it’s all guilds aggressively running raids or pvp non-stop. Or they don’t speak English. Hoping I’ll find something soon.

Is there any way to speed up fishing leveling? I’m at around 280, but it seems like you need to get 10 fish for every level.

Yeah man, having a blast in Wrath as well!

between the 10 mans and 25 mans, arena and alt levelling ive been having a lot to do in WoW lately, which is refreshing.

In a single phase we get to kill over 30 bosses a week. I have flashbacks of P1 TBC where we had Kara Gruul and Mag, it felt so scarce.

A surprisingly pleasant thing I learned as I leveled was just how OP Starfall is. I’ve ran quite a few dungeons while leveling and many of them have been speed leveling groups. Starfall followed up with Hurricane…OMG!

I’ve been having a great time too with leveling and gearing my characters and maxing their professions by hand farming stuff.

Yes going at your own pace, whatever that is, is the best and most fun way to do it.

I’m having a pretty good time to to be completely honest. Just doing things here and there, pretty scatterbrained actually.

Going back to the other zones and finishing up quest lines that I skipped as I leveled. Slowly running heroics now and then to get a few badges and a piece of gear here and there.

My guild is pretty awesome and we have a few that don’t mind me jumping in and running heroics with them.

Got a 72/73 DK that is resting in an inn right now for when I feel like messing around on another toon. And got a real low level priest I would like to level more.

I’m pretty happy with the state of things, will I swap to DF when it comes out? For sure, but I am pretty solo in retail and don’t push much content so I think I can balance the two together. I couldn’t when vanilla and then tbc came out because I hated how slow everything was but now it’s got a little pace to it and I don’t have to drink/ess as t after every fight I’m enjoying things.
