I dunno, I saw it and was wondering why they even have a tengu mask emoji.
Emojis were originally created in Japan for use on Japanese mobile phones and then spread to the rest of the world.
That’s why there’s so many uniquely Japanese things like the aforementioned Tengu (closest approximation for most Americans would be a goblin/mischievous spirit), an 
Oni, and stuff like 
Japanese student driver logo, and 
narutomaki style fish cake.
