Some people will never learn it maybe we should release content based on them. ![]()
Where did I say we needed to release content based on who learns it?
You replied to a statement about content release scheduling.
Yes. With an amusing anecdote. Not some hidden agenda.
Well, my reply just happened to follow your train of thought.
No it didn’t. Because that wasn’t my train of thought at all.
I know I changed the train.
As a healer I can tell you the soak mechanics are “easy” because they only damage the raid like 15% of what Normal does and as long as 4/6 healers (yes the stupid thing has 6 healers) aren’t afk you can easily heal through LFR soak mechanics. It has nothing to do with “2-3 people that catch the soaks”, because that rarely ever happens
The whole point of the long delay was to try and push LFR Heroes into a group to actually do normal, thus integrating them into a community, thus reinforcing group play and making PvE content more enjoyable by getting that legendary, and then having you stay for gearing your character and making friends with your community.
It’s the same with Blizzard pushing PvP and PvE content on people that prefer the other. It’s all about trying to keep you for as long as possible to make money. It’s all a plan.
But even then, normal raid is pretty easy anyway, even with everyone sub ilvl 200. Could have had legendaries a month ago.
You don’t need 6 hours a night 4 nights a week to clear a raid stop being hyperbolic. I’m in a two day raiding guild and were pushing into mythic. You only have LFR as an option because you choose to.
Just one shot LFR Sire without knowing any of the mechanics as dps.
Basically it amounted to kill adds and stay out of red.
I even got a nifty anti jailer ring out of it.
That’s how much I raided in BC. Being very factual. Because you think it’s hyperbolic I can only assume you wouldn’t have been able to raid in BC.
This is the reason. They release the wings too quickly, people will complain they are bored & others will complain that the game is dying or too few people are playing. No matter what it’s a lose lose situation for blizzard because you’ll still have a group of people complaining, but that’s with every thing involving this game.
in cata when dragon soul lfr was released it was all released at once. if someone got the lfr version of a trinket some guilds would give the normal or heroic version of the trinket to someone else. on top of the fact you could combine lfr tier with heroic raid tier. it was a total crap show. people also felt it “diminished the experience” to clear it on a higher difficulty because they killed death wing on lfr before they did on those difficulties.
Is it ridiculous, though?
Couldn’t agree more. Younger me would have turned up to every raid available at any time on a moments’ notice.
I can’t even schedule any more than an hour here or there most days now. LFR is a godsend for people without chunks of time to drop into raid and raid prep.
Some of us have guilds we are part of . Doesn’t mean we are able to join them for raid nights or that we like using the LFG tool . Also LfR this round had such a long time between wings because the time between wing 1 and wing 2 was 3 weeks instead of 2 because of the holidays.
“u dont deserv 2 c tha end bos if u dont join uh raid” - An actual human being that thinks he’s better than other people because he has nothing better to do with his life than to feel superior to other people in a video game.
yeah i never understood it but i guess they want to stretch out the casuals play time
