I’m gonna be quing a lot next season. I’m ashamed to admit I fell full tilt into the housing simulator towards the middle of the season. I dunno if a glad push is happening yet but I do need to start quing 3s this next season if I want to improve.

I’m excited for blueprints so I can just load someone else’s plans and get my toons out of the shack they all live in.
It is some of the most fun I’ve had in wow. I can’t really play guitar anymore so the creative outlet has been pretty cool.

Hot take though probably I think garrisons in wod were better than what we have now. They had flaws too but I remember enjoying doing the little profession tasks/upgrades, garden, mine, base of operations to send out followers for rewards, and shipyard.
Current housing to me doesn’t even feel like it has a purpose that is tied to the actual game/world imo, which ultimately makes it feel like its own isolated virtual world mainly serving as a vessel for blizzard to sell nft equivalents.
Honestly not trying to bash housing, but personally I’m disappointed in it. I would have preferred blizzard expanding upon the ideas that garrisons introduced (e.g., being able to create a customized functional garden to acquire herbs, or customized functional mine to acquire ore/gems where you can progressively unlock and expand how wide and deep tunnels go, functional profession areas, being able to make a customized training dummy layout where you can practice your rotations, functional fishing spots at your backyard lake, etc.).
A think a brawlers guild type feature could have been a good way to tie a community together too (e.g., have it be located in the common/centralized part of town, where people can participate in and spectate duels, face off against brawlers guild type pve bosses, etc.).

They could have made garrisons soooo great. Wish they didn’t drop that ball. Having use other than ascetics was a great idea.

Carpal tunnel. I can still play for short periods of time but not near enough to keep my chops up to play professionally anymore. I didn’t think the risks of the surgery were worth it and tried some holistic stuff which kinda worked and kinda didnt, as you’d expect.
