For someone who claims to like BfA, you spend an awful lot of time on these forums. Why aren’t you playing instead of arguing with players who don’t like BfA?

First of all, it’s you’re, not your. Secondly, thank you for your concern about my reading comprehension. I’m sure that it’s nowhere near as lofty as your unattainable idealizations that you had going into Wow. So, sooo, sorry that reality hit you hard, thankfully it hit your head, and not anything that you use that’s vital. BFA is the failure of WOW? Talk to the few guildies you haven’t alienated and ask them about their firsthand experiences of Cataclysm.

Really? really? Haha you have no counter to anything I’ve said so you want to get on me for grammar? I rush post as I read others comments. I dont need to be perfect to get the point across. Trying to use rarely used words doesn’t make you smart kid. I’ve had offers of free sub time from some guildies actually. I just think BFA is trash. BC, WOTLK, MOP, and even WoD were vastly better experiences for me. Sub count backs me up on that front too. Anyways you claimed I don’t care about the game. I think I’ve made it clear I do. But you keep coming back to this thread. Take yourself back to the game you claim to love so much. Clearly I’m proving to be more fun than this game if you keep coming back to me.

If you put the same amount of effort into the game that you have over the last four hours having a fit and fighting everyone you would have probably unlocked the race you wanted to play.

actually this was my way of venting out. And I wasnt confrontational towards other posters. Some fangirls decided they were going to start throwing personal attacks rather than debate the subject or leave constructive criticism. Manners seem to elude some folks.

This is why I advocate for the concept of allied races to end so we can get back to introducing fully developed core races that anyone can play from the beginning. But at this point in the game’s lifetime it’s clear that half-baked ARs and their grinds are the new system in place. Sorry this has been your experience with WoW. I myself can only stay subbed for a few months at a time before I need a break from either the repetitive timegating or periodical bugs (such as the bugs that have come with 8.3). Hopefully Shadowlands has some improvements and you can give WoW another shot, OP.

Ya i hear that. Burn out seems to be happening for a lot of folks. It’s a real shame to see such a legendary title on this downward spiral because they are trying to milk sub time. Thats what it is all about. When I ask why we cant get unlimited dailies I get no response. The grind is very shallow and dull and its to keep people logging in everyday. But honestly a skin isnt worth what I spent on the game. I’m going to enjoy the last few weeks i have left just exploring the lore maybe. Idk I feel like I got burned as a consumer.

you mean in Vanilla when you had to do even a waaayyy longer quest chain than patch 8.3 to get attuned to Molter Core?
Wehn you have to do an endless grind (and spent lots of gold) to farm resistance gear?
When you had to kill thousands of fulborgs for a recipe?
when most of the people on those 40 man raid where baddies carried by 10 competent players?
when the rotation was 1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,
when you had to go healer to be raid if you had that spec?
meanwhile in my server, people are getting together forming groups to kill rares, kill horde, do assaults.

It’s weird because in classic the world feels much larger. Whats this about the 1 button rotation? Was that a specific class?
of course it was larger, it was the original complete new game, now we are playing expansions of game.
Careful, wouldn’t want to put a little effort into something.

ya but something else and I cant put my finger on it. The one positive of Retail atm is you can level wherever you want from 1-60. But if I could level 1-120 in the old locations I most certainly would. I loved the Plaguelands. So much lore and attention to detail. I loved every second of it. Never really got to experience much of the classic Goblin locations but they seemed really nice. Booty Bay I think it was. Tropical and all.

Also, don’t pay then. You have options. Go play another game, or pay for your subscription with your gold.
It’s funny that people just want everything for free. Imagine actually having to play the game to get the rewards it offers.

I agree with you about the allied though, I think those dont need to be locked under reputation farm. If you are a new player you should be able to play those new allied races when you purchase the current expansion.

Nothing here was “free” for me. I bought 2 months of game time and last two expansions. Tell me what was “free” about that? Please, do elaborate. Stop fangirling and actually say something constructive instead of repeating what others say on this forum since time and memoriam when they get all upset about these posts trying to be constructive for the sake of the future of this game! Original thoughts, if you will please.

You want something constructive? Play the damn game. That’s what you bought it for. Everything else is extra. You bought the base game; the story; not the flare that comes with the patches. Not the end game content. You actually have to work for that.
Play the game, do the rep grind like you signed up for. (remember complaining that it’s an RPG game? Grinding is par for the course.) And stop complaining like a child.
Or don’t and leave. Either way, you have options. Grow up and figure them out for yourself.

OP tried, but isn’t enjoying it. If you don’t enjoy playing a game, you’re not going to continue playing it.
And I think if you’re honest, you’ll acknowledge that OP is not alone in disliking the (imho absurd) AR (re-skin) “unlock” and/or many other “features” of BfA.
