They don’t have to tell us where everything is - And they already do that, anyway.

All I’m asking for is to not have to leave the game just to get information on how my class is supposed to work beyond just simple tooltips and trial by fire. Trial by Fire has the potential of wasting my groups’ times because I could not know what I’m doing because we’re already in an environment where everyone else already know what they’re doing.

I want the game to teach me how to play better, not a third party guide.

You’re not required to go to a 3rd party site to learn to play the game. You learn the game by leveling your character and playing it.

The third party guide is created before the patch is even live by players that beta. Again, always been this way. There is zero reason to spend resources on this when its not broken.

You don’t see logic. You are a member of the entitlement crowd. The requirements for the race are out there for you to see. If you don’t like them, don’t do them. They aren’t required. It is meant to be an achievement.

There isn’t a correct way. But there is an optimal way.

haha that’s like saying your entitled when you order a combo meal at Mcdonalds and you are complaining that the fries are missing from the order. You have no idea what you are on about.

So then there is no “winning” then. Which means that no matter what there is no “Pay to win”. So going back to your original statement we’ve completed a circle with you.

This game is ongoing, thus nothing up to now will allow you to “win” or beat the game. It’s not possible until the final installment. What’s more there is no in game advantage to the allied races over the old ones. And all the while you can buy mounts, race change, and transfer realms. But God forbid if we want anything similar with an allied race. Nope, cant have that now!

If it was truly about achieving something or “winning” as some other posters like to say. It wouldnt be about grinding. It would be about doing an actual feat. Soloing a certain boss, clearing a dungeon on mythic, etc. Instead of progressing my character I am stuck in limbo without doing anything constructive for rep.

If you want to be brain-dead, you do you. If you can’t be bothered to read a guide then you are going to have a tough time in this game.

Truthfully, this is just not the game for you. GL in your search for one that is.

Remember when players complained there was nothing to do, so they created new content including prestige races?

I’ve decided that I will do what I find fun despite my grievances with this patch. Right now that is leveling a rogue, and I thought that would never happen. Guess my only fun is everything not related to 8.3. Sad times.

I dont need a guide to play this game. I need multiple days of doing the same exact crap. There is a HUGE difference. I know how to play my classes. I know how to min/max in BGs. It’s not the point and never was the point of this conversation. I’m not being “brain dead”. I’ve proven that you don’t have an actual counterargument to the post.

And it’s even more hilarious you are playing a Draenei. so remind me, which area did you have to grind to death to unlock them again? Ohhh, right you didnt. They were GIVEN to you. Ah lovely, sweet, hypocrisy.

It’s not for everyone, I can say that. To those saying ‘WoW used to be fun, but now it’s not!’ regarding rep grinds… have obviously not played that long. Because WoW’s always had rep grinds, most far longer and more hair pulling than this one (except Wrath and Cata, who had their rep tabards, which I’d love to go back to).

That is the nature of MMOs in general though. Grindfests galore.

Most of those players wouldn’t have gotten Wintersaber rep done. After a few days they’d be on the forums complaining that’s it’s taking too long.

That is true but it should be reasonable. There used to be tabards that got you rep as you do dungeons too. The good old days right?

You are asking for something that was created as a pretsige rep grind cosmetic to be made free because reasons. This game has always had and will always have prestige cosmetic items. From pvp, to pve, to gold sink items to rep rewards they exist.

They don’t need to be cheapened because you want shiney but have no interest in playing to unlock it. Your complaint is no different than players that want glad mounts/ tmogs unlocked for all.

Then how about this? It was STUPID that they did it with races rather than the normal gear, mounts, etc. Clearly I am NOT the only one who feels this way about it either. How come your race wasnt picked for that? Hell why dont we make it as absolutely boring as possible? Make every race but basic orcs and humans locked behind rep? After all Warcraft was all about Humans vs Orcs before it evolved into anything more.
