They just want their loots and they want it now or else they start to get grumpy.
It’s not really a mystery the Unavoidable aoe damage is absurd it feels like even if your playing well your HP is just chunked.
Plus stuff is big spread outs at times placing the pressure on one healer sometimes.
If it sucks for high end people you can only imagine how much it suck’s for the less skilled people.
Which is still a large number of players.
Like obviously gear will solve this issue but you see this issue as often in ff14 for example.
Downside is healers are constantly complaining but they really don’t know how good they have it. It’s obvious they’ll nerf much of this into the ground which kind sucks as well.
Just test the content prior to dropping it that’s like the bear minimum expectation
Why should they when they have an army of Skilled players ready to battle for them on this fight
the grump boss is formiddable
TBC difficulty is no where close to what we have now.
Maybe if you played tbc with your monitor turned off
TBC is a fun nostalgia trip, but let’s be real compared to the complexities and speed of Retail WoW, TBC feels like a walk in the park. From one-shotting dungeons to the simpler raid mechanics, it’s practically a vacation. In Retail WoW, the Mythic+ runs and intricate raid encounters make TBC look like a warm-up. When you can clear TBC content while half-watching Netflix.
Yea very punishing to healers right now on m0 lol and I’m practically full 580. Even blowing cooldown’s doesn’t help.
This just proves what I’ve been saying all along. People don’t want hard content at all, they just want their welfare gear, and this is what M+ has delivered since Legion.
I knew M0s were going to be complained about.
Necrotic wake third boss without mind popping dps is crazy to heal.
The average wow player will just say dps more which to a certain extent they are right. What you have to remember though is M0 though is for people looking to relax or they arnt really that skilled ( it’s challenging to them ) a few wipes and deaths here and there is fine, but the harder content is supposed to be the mythic +
TBC Heroics weren’t even the same planet as what we have now. Way easier.
Also, this is a M0. Being difficult is fine, but having insane 1 shots and absurd unavoidable damage all over the place makes no sense. Where do you go from here when you’re already being 1 shot by everything in the dungeon? What’s the point of a M12? I already did it at M0. They both 1 shot at every wrong move, so what does it matter? You can’t get any harder than insta death.
That’s supposed to be the point of scaling progression. Some bosses like Waxface are essentially unbeatable depending your class unless you’ve found some type of cheese. I don’t mean it’s hard, I mean can’t be done as he casts an unavoidable aoe burst that repeats over and over that does 90% of your hp without your defensives.
They didn’t use all new code.
Argument doesn’t really hold anymore since you can turn average delve gear into better then m0 loot.
Really all people want is whatever the community considers high enough to do raid content every expansion offered that I’d argue like tbc and beyondwas just as easy to get welfare gear only it was easier because the content was easier.
There is a huge difference between hard, convoluted, and tedium just to be tedious. The latter two are justifiable to upset at, but when something is just “hard” not so much.
The release of M0 for the expansion is not for relaxing, or an easy going time. It’s literally progress content.
No one is coming into this over-geared from previous seasons’ vault gimmes, tier sets, or with relatively BiS items like trinkets, special procs, etc. You’re Heroic dungeon geared at absolute best.
Yup and that’s the silly part about it half this stuff instagibs certain classes which is just unfun.
It’s a video game the argument is silly to begin with what with nearly all players using software telling them exactly what to do.
This comment doesn’t make a lick of sense.
This 100% Did Grim today twice as loot isnt saved you can reset and run endlessly for 593s lmao deff did not test.
But ya grim is way overtuned to a point its cancer and i have cancer and would rather just snap my neck then go back…yet have too.
The trash is bad the bosses are bad the last boss is crazy that even people who mythic in the top 100 were wiping for hours due to amount damage it was as my guild said a mythic raid boss.
Did Dawn the bosses were fine the trash at the bottom was WTF and 2nd boss was cancer.
I mean, good. If you don’t do mechanics on higher tier delves, you’re supposed to die.
This is just the 1st solo content since mage tower that’s not a free win with no effort, so you’ll have to give them time to adjust.
The training wheels have come off.
At what level? I mean absolutely no snark, and I ask because neither I nor my guildies are CE or M+20 types. We heroic raid and aim to clear +10’s in the season. That’s the level we’re talking about where skill is concerned with my group.
I did Waterworks at Tier 8 with 2 guildies today (just got done like 30 minutes ago), and it was pretty straightforward. No deaths. I went in Resto at 578ilvl, so under what it recommends. My monk tank was a 581 (I think), and I have no idea what my mage was wearing. Anyway, it worked out really well for us.
I’ve been playing with a pre-made group, which as been fun because we can just laugh it off and adjust our strat and learn stuff. No interest in healing in pug groups, too much pressure.
We’ve found some bosses need a pull or two to get right, but that doesn’t feel bad to me.
I killed waxface in a tier 8.
Did it on a ret pally though. So grain of salt.
