Since when has LFD been a sacred feature of the WoW Classic community? I’m genuinely confused. I thought people loved not having it because it kept the old school MMO feel.
Is Wrath somehow different than vanilla and TBC? No troll, no bait… genuinely curious.
Pretty sure it’s just because LFD released in WotLK and Blizzard saying that they wanted to bring an authentic expirience of Classic makes people assume that all features will be there.
Came out at the last phase… hardly was a huge part of that experience
it is vastly different.
Everything that was vastly wrong with vanilla was fixed in tbc, everything that was vastly wrong with tbc was fixed in wotlk.
Different systems in place, different aspects to gearing, smooth raiding/instances.
LFD removed the dead server feel while generating healthy gameplay, endgame and at the Starting levels.
your right i love sitting in lfg for 6 hours and begging for groups its so much better then queuing for a dungeon.
Yea and it did so at the end of the expansion… so to move that goal post now changes it… perhaps not in a good way.
Considering that “last phase” lasted almost as long as the first phases I would consider it a huge part of MY experience.

Then why does it have to be cut altogether? Why not like the TBC group finder and just bring it in during an appropriate phase?

Even so, you dont have to use it, if LFG Board works well for you then by all means please continue to use it, I personally will not be using it, because ill be using RFD/LFD.
Keep in mind we are getting the end patch—so it actually does make sense to include it.

Sure but I mean they probably want you walking/flying to the instance and not sitting in Dalaran Queing
i would be questing and grinding hodir rep, or doing something else rather then spending 100% of my time trying to snipe an invite to a heroic Instance.
I’m just imagining that scenario play out… I wouldn’t cry or say a word if they added in that feature today even… I doubt they will be so generous is all…
LFG is a VERY generous thing…
that is the soul reason as to why everyone is going nuts. Time is key, im sure you’d go nuts if you spend longer then 3 hours in a kara.

Use the mythic lfg system from retail at the start of Wrath[basically improved bulletin board].
Introduce LFD after a phase or 2. Or Icc phase.
