I was trolling so it’s a deserved mute… I guess. But aside from that, every time people try to whisper me or say chat me to be helpful it’s extremely awkward. I have to try to communicate with emotes UNLESS they invite me to a group… then I can talk. But it auto declines any group invites I throw out so I seem like some sort of weirdo mute bot.
Yeah there needs to be a automatic reply for is poor chat restricted folks.

Honestly, seems like an odd choice to not have an auto “I’m chat restricted” reply
Privacy laws prevent blizzard from disclosing that information to others.
All I really need is an emote I can throw out to people to let them know to invite me or to somehow communicate that I can’t talk.
Yeah, it would make sense to include some way so you can voluntarily pass that info along, but I dont think blizzard cares to make life more convenient for chat restrictions.
I mean, being chat banned is supposed to be inconvient. Maybe now you won’t go and get yourself banned again.
I got forum muted 1 day for saying I didn’t want rdf in the game. Just saying but you don’t even know what people report you for, you could just say something unpopular and then you’re banned.
Maybe they could get a temporary optional title to wear that lets people know.

yeah people get caught in bans they shouldn’t. But the fix for that should be making sure it stops happening, not making the ban itself more convenient.
