I'm all about no dual spec in TBC, but

Now that I’ve been playing the game again I do feel the constraint it puts on my ability to do all of the content the way I want to. I’m not one of the people that buys gold so it can get pretty expensive when I want to PvP and PvE for not a ton of cost to me in the game. I don’t want to feel gimped doing PvE content with my PvP spec either. Dual spec fixed all of that and made the game a lot more accessible I think.

That thing you just did where you equated one thing to a lot of other things is a poor example of how propaganda is often used. Also in the end I agree with keeping it out of TBC, because that difficulty was part of the experience too, but I just thought I’d be honest about how limiting it feels to be playing the game again without having it. I didn’t notice as much the first time because it had never been a thing.

You really don’t want to have sl/sl warlocks everywhere because they can just dualspec into destro for raids at any moment

Fix the tank bottleneck with LFR due to lack of Guilds needing to fill the few tank spots they require.

I’d have ret and prot as my 2 specs.

It’s limiting, but in a good way.

Not at all the same thing as dual spec.

None of those things are the same as dual spec

When was dual spec released?

WotLK, Ulduar patch. I doubt we’ll get it for TBC Classic, as nice as it would be for healers.

The funniest part of all this is that people scream “NO DUAL SPEC”.

Then they make another thread about how too many tanks and healers have no idea what they are doing.

. :joy:

For real. I am solo leveling HPriest and it’s hell.
I looked up something to help and did Wand + Spirit Tap to get me by. Leveling is enjoyable and I barely have any downtime and can still perform good holy duties.
Still, I rather have Dual spec but I can manage now lol.

Right? I’m probably going to go shadow. Been healing since Vanilla but I know how much of a pain dailies are in TBC on a raid spec healer. If there were dual spec I’d heal.

You do realize as a rogue that your PvP spec is perfectly viable to farm in right? You can easily go PvP spec, farm the gold and PvP only to respec for raid or dungeon grind. You don’t have to change spec 19 times a week because you feel you have to do 5% more damage in your dps spec on a bunch of mook mobs.

we need dual spec, simply put.

Eventually. All of the changes that the forum asks for will be implemented… by Shadowlands Classic. Then everyone will be back to asking for Classic Classic again.

Respec to an offensive discipline build. My brother is leveling like this and he said it works great for solo questing and healing dungeons. He’s T2 geared so he does have some decent gear—just make sure you aren’t wearing complete junk.

In wrath duel spec was 1000 gold (I’m pretty sure)

I don’t think they will put it in for tbc because they want the gold Sink,
But they should put it into tbc for 5000gold to keep it going.
