I unsubbed instead. Then SOD came, so I resubbed. Then SOD sucked, so I unsubbed.

Count me in for TBC/WotLK era as well. I quit before Cataclysm the first time, I quit before Cataclysm the second time. Heck, the only reason I came back at all for classic was in the hopes that we would get a WotLK era server. Can’t believe I am putting my faith in Blizzard yet again but here we are.

They spend more money and resources on servers than they get from your sub chico.
How much will it cost them to maintain new fresh servers?
I need the total cost of fresh vs number of subs required to break even on cost.
Bump! Let us know if we’ll get to see TBC Era (and ideally WotLK Era, as well), Blizz! You said you’ve been reading through our posts and comments on the forums and on social media, so surely you knew before your announcement that we’re wanting permanent versions of our favorite expansions!

Hey, give a link. You seem to be the only one with this knowledge. I and most others only heard/read that the normal servers (PvP and PvE) would progress to TBCand the HC servers not. Where can I see or hear that they will go further?

No, many unsubbed because of no TBC or no Wrath. I know I did.
And if there were more Era versions to play, I would play more WoW total, not less. As it is now, I play mainly HC (Era) when I tire of this, I play something else, or go read a book, because I do not like Cata and do not play Retail. If say a BC Era existed, I’d go there to relax from HC 
This Splittting the playerbase fallacy has been disproved tme and again. so no. I am not happy with this reason.

My hope is they allow people to stay at TBC at the end and keep the servers, possibly allow the clone thing and then do Wrath as well so people can choose to stay or continue on.
That way the TBC era would then be established and very likely a Wrath era. I’m sure there could be other ways they do it too, but thats what I’m kinda hoping for.
I really hope this new iteration goes well and the numbers look good to keep it around. So glad to be playing this with all the TBC supporters finally and hope to see many of you in the game soon!

You dont need to be a blizzard dev to know WOTLK would come out after TBC. The fact u think we would just stop at TBC is funny.
