I recrafted my weapon today from 720 ilvl to 727 ilvl, the recraft was successful and the new weapon is 727 ilvl, all stats reflect this. However, my avg ilvl went down from 711 to 702? Have equipped and unequipped, logged and relogged, is it just a visual bug with the UI, or an actual effect in game?
I am having the same issue with my gloves.
My weapon recraft seemed to go alright.
So this bug seems pretty random.
Impacting me with my two handed mace.
I would check your weapon. Take it off and put it back on, see if your overall agility decreases by the listed agility on the weapon.
I recrafted weapon and legs and both are drastically reduced in value (even though the ilvl is 727).
I just recrafted my caster dagger and it only gives ~6500 int vs the 25k it’s supposed to.
Same problem, DH, ilevel 712, recraft weapon from 720 to 727, ilevel went down to 704.
Major yikes if the turbo boost matrices are in fact breaking the spark and enchanted crest that are in the item. These sound like the item is at the absolute base crafted ilvl, like a rank 1 season 1 spark item, in terms of returned stats.
Just confirmed this on 3 different characters (all 2-handers, if that helps Bliz troubleshoot.) When you upgrade/recraft your 720 weapons to 727, they are not granting the listed ilvl or stats. My ilvl went from ~716 to 697 when equipping the 727 weapon. I also noticed it wasn’t giving me the INT/STA as advertised. I swapped to a back up weapon and it provided the correct stats. Also tested on a training dummy, this is not just a UI issue. Noticeably less DPS with the 727 staff vs the back-up weapon.
DO NOT RECRAFT YOUR GEAR TO 727 UNTIL THIS IS FIXED!
Same issue. upgraded crafted wrists and weapon. was ilvl 712 over all upgraded to 727s on crafteds now showin 705
I have recrafted my shield and my ilevel went down too. I hope it get fixed soon

Well at least if this is a massive issue they will have to fix it quickly, I had the same issue with my weapon, the longer the maintenance take the more they break the game, is the same system you used the last season, it cant be that hard to copy / paste jezzzzz
Having same issue with Glyph-Etched Gauntlets went from 720 to 727, item showing a 727 but when equipping my ilvl drops , come on blizz
as of now, seems to be fixed on my toon, at least it’s showing the propper ilvl
edit: dealing normal dps on the dummy too, it seems
edit 2: logged back in after a few hours, back to low ilvl lol (at least it doesnt show a higher ilvl on the bag anymore? so yay?)
same problem after weapon recrafts today. pretty sure its just a a visual bug on the character window as stats are increased.
Ran into the same issue, but it’s quirky. Recrafted from 720 to 727 on Fury Warrior and it’s working, but on my Death Knight it’s all wrong. Now 2x 704 one-hand swords give more total strength than a supposed 727 two-hand sword when equipped.
Update: Logged out of game totally and back in, now DK two-hand sword if giving correct values.
Update 2: Yeah must be Dornogal as noted below. I went to Archerus when I logged back in, and working.
Update 3: Hearth back to Dornogal and stats dropped, haha. Nice one Blizz.
It’s a bug in Dornogal, in any other zone the ilvl and stats are correct

ilevel 713, recraft, dropped to 704. Go to karesh, ilevel 713. Hearth to DALARAN, ilevel 713. Hearthstone back to dorn, all fixed, ilevel 713 in dorn. Also was a report of port to ogrimar and back to dorn worked. /shrug
Samne issue here. 720 to 723
i think i fixed it removing all my clothes, log off, then go naked to a dungeon and equip everything inside the dungeon, my stats and item level seems fine after this
