iLvl decrease after recraft, even though recraft was good?

I recrafted my weapon/wrist/hands to 727 and my ilvl dropped from 713 to 704. In K’aresh it shows 713. But as soon as I upgraded an H trinket in Dornogal, I’m 714 and it shows properly in Dornogal. Yay!

OK folks, seems its still borked even when your ilevel SAYS its correct. For example, on my DH, new crafted 727 weapon . (numbers rounded for illustration). I’m at 92,000 agility. I take my 727 weapon off, I got to 90,500 agility, a loss of 1500. But the weapon says it has 4500 agility. So, its clearly NOT giving me the full agility even when my ilevel shows the correct amount.
TL;DR zoning doesn’t seem to “fix” your actual stats or power, they’re still broke with crafted weapons no matter what your ilevel says.

Adding to this thread for more visibility. Seems crafted weapons with the 727 upgrade are bugged and not adding the appropriate stats. My caster baton is supposed to add 38,299 int, but only adds 9,939 int.

this is the answer, it changes when you leave but changes back to crap ilvl if you go back to dornogal

Getting this bug too - at least legion remix is out

Same, 720 staff recrafted to 727, staff is now a 720 Starlight Crafted staff… Matrix consumed. Tried the reloading / relogging / zoning… no bueno.

try this folks, it fixed the problem for me

Also running into this problem with a two-handed weapon.

ook well… at least it’s not just me. yikes

naked trick doesn’t stick once I left the dungeon

bumping this. blizz fix this nonsense

Happened to me too.

The craft also ate 2 gilded matrix instead of one. And it took all of my artisans acuity.

I went to K’aresh and hearthed back to Dorn. Ilvl seems to be fixed, but I’m not sure if the stats are right.

How much hp is a 707 Blood DK supposed to have?

oof thats very rough.

Same issue with my crafts - crafted a 727 and the ilvl/stats arent showing correctly

Same issue, Recrafted weapon and bracers

Same issue here. Went from being 717.9 ilvl with a 720 2h weapon, to 700 ilvl with the same weapon re-crafted at 727 and equipped -.-

Yea, i can seemingly “reset” my ilvl, but the issue comes back. For now just treating Dornagal like its cursed.

I have more info to share to help the devs reproduce. At approximately 6:30 PST I recrafted two pieces of gear on my hunter Fantastic-Drak’thul on US servers. I’ve encountered the bug, but only with one of my re-crafts.

Things I’ve narrowed down on my characters:

  • The 727 neck I recrafted works fine (was recrafted from last season).
  • The 720 belt I recrafted is bugged (was already 720 before the recraft, I just wanted to change stats on it)
  • On my druid, I did a 720 ilevel recraft on an item from last season and it is NOT bugged. So neither of my items that were recrafted for the first time since last season encountered the bug, only the one from this season that I recrafted.
  • Equipping the 720 belt in Dornogal does not give the stats listed on the belt tooltip (I should get 1k raw haste and get less than that). It says 720 on the item, but the stats given are less and the calculation into my total ilevel makes me go from what should be 717 down to 708.
  • Leaving Dornogal unbugs my stats (fixes both overall ilevel and stats given). Going to Stormwind and/or into an instance seems to fix it. It will re-bug when returning to Dornogal however.

Even when the ilvl shows up as it should I don’t think the status are being applied correctly.

Upgraded my weapon from 720 to 727 and my DPS dropped by a lot, like if I was using the base ilvl weapon.
