30 of those alts (if they are gnomes) leveled up to 10 at one point
You did all those quests to get to level 10
But somehow that’s ok vs doing the very exact same thing for the cloak quest chain
I’m not telling you to go do it 30 times, I find it ironic you dread that quest chain but didn’t care for doing the exact same thing on 30 gnome alts to level from 1-10
Because someone does something doesn’t mean someone enjoys it. We are talking to you, but that doesn’t mean it is enjoyable.

I like to quest but I don’t like the cloak quest line, It’s that simple
Maybe because in those “kill 10 spiders” quests you’re actually playing your character, and in the cloak quest you’re flying around the world on an hours-long fetch quest?

Cause I am burned out on wow. Corruptions, essences, azerite traits have turned me off this game. Mostly its corruptions, should of never of been a thing.
SL looks to have a lot of things that seem fun (mostly torghast for me) so yes, I am one that say i will wait for SL to probably get fully back into this game (i still weekly mount farm and jump in once and a while to help out friends but I do not do much else)
10 spiders is the exact same thing as killing 10 N’Zoth minions
You’re experiencing the game after many “fixes” and iterations on what was a very bad product, and like you say you’ve got a lot to do because you’re new.

Sure, but you’re not killing 10 nzoth minions, you’re travelling. Almost the entire cloak chain is travel.
I think Clark is physically incapable of grasping the idea that people might think one quest is more fun than another one.

Because I think that repeat something over and over again in different difficulties isn’t exactly what the people want. The storyline will end by doing it on LFR or Mythic. What keeps people busy nowadays is leveling alts, achievements, old content, and so on. Like me trying to get Loremaster with a bunch of alts in different maps.
BFA has nothing else to offer.
Please, don’t tell me you consider “all the rewards from paragon chests” a content, no… please.
Mage Tower had a bad design to access it, wasn’t like “we don’t want to do it because we are bothered” was more like “why this $h!t isn’t up when I can play.”
It’s not, we are talking about repetition of Horrific Visions.
Because a lot of people that complain about this haven’t even got to rank 10 cloak. Not saying Warpstone is one of them.
No the minimum content you’re expected to do is 1 5mask a week until you hit 470, kill Nzoth in normal and do a full clear vision for 1 Malefic Core each.
Also spending your biweekly vessels to get Echoes for corruptions.
Sockets are literally 1% of your power each.

That’s why it’s a bit ironic these very same people who dislike the cloak quest chain, doesnt mind doing the same in legacy expansions when you have to go to x and y while leveling
I’ll ask you the same thing, how many times do you have to do something to know you don’t like it? I did not like doing them up to rank 8 so I will magically like them and keep doing them as much as possible if I would just do it to rank 15?
BFA systems demotivated me enough that I played for like 3 weeks and took a 6-8 month break. So since I know what BFA was about, I’d rather just enjoy the RP and company of others than participate in systems/story that broke my WoW spirit.
Seriously, I hadn’t been so demotivated in an expansion before. It’s been weird.

Why would people do content they aren’t interested in?
It has nothing to do with hardcore or casual and everything to do with Blizzard creating lazy and uninteresting content.
All of BFA is just repeating the same boring thing over and over again.
