Ignoring posters

Has the ability to ignore posters been removed?

It’s still there, but not as accessible.

Click your portrait and select “Settings”, where you should already be on the “Preferences” tab. Select “Notifications” that’s to the left, then scroll to the bottom. You should see a section labeled “Users”, with a field below it where you can put in the username of the person you wish to ignore.

I have no idea why they’d remove the direct ignore option in this new design, but then again the whole thing is garbage, so…

That doesn’t ignore them, just prevents you from getting notifications when they respond to one of your posts.

As of right now, there isn’t an ignore feature like there was on the previous forums. The web team is working on it:

Ignore : We do have a story in for this for feature development. It’s not part of the traditional Discourse offering, but we’re using a modified version that our Web & Mobile team has been partnering on with the Discourse folks.
