well thats what i mean by afraid.
cause they are worried, if you take down any subject, related too LGBTQ+, or any hot-topic that folks that like to talk about, that is likely to label em in the negative way.
There are so many “Individuals” on the Forums who leave open questions regarding their level of Education, who make the same, poopy, posts, over, and over, and the ability to ignore their entire account would be considerably appreciated!
Based on some of the comments in this thread, it sounds like some sort of ignore ‘button’ that works IRL would be pretty popular. Imagine being able to completely turn off the ability to see someone like you can usually do online!
I dunno, always found it funny seeing, “hidden reply” plus I rarely even remember what I blocked people for… probably people trolling, but usually remove em from the list after a week? As annoying as some people can be… they tend to keep debates going with bad reasoning, which is fun to partake in.
Edit: I lied, I do have three idiots I keep on ignore permanently.
Generally speaking it relates to private property rights and the ability to remove someone from it. That can be followed by no trespass orders, and even court issued no-contact orders.
We also have the ability to block phone calls, emails, texts, and social messages from people trying to reach us.
Its not so much about not being able to handle criticism as it is not wanting to see someone who routinely tries to derail threads, or starts threads with the explicit intent to annoy people.
