Ignoring player feedback has never worked out for you

Trolling when in fact hotfixing and tuning and balancing takes time and since you want to be a jerk about it then so be it be one all you like but in the end I doubt it’ll make any difference because time is the only way to tell.

No need to call names.

So we voice now. So they look at some internal testing. Nothing wrong with that. Spend sometime in GD issues are obviously being posted.

They do have internal testing. And it still requires time you think it’s so easy like a click of a button yeah no.

And how is that my problem as a supporting consumer?

I have the right to voice my opinion. Keyword is voice. Meaning to let them know.

This is extremely important and people are glossing over it. I am on conference calls daily on improving sales and maintaining my company profitability. No company gives away anything for free, nor do they do discounts and sales, when things are going really well.

This is a knee-jerk tactic to drive up numbers because sales have under-achieved thus far. It is enormously concerning it happened immediately after launch.

You’re not the only one. This forums has almost million users or thousands and it’s a lot of voices.

Inflation is happening and shadowlands and BFA hurt the game but shadowlands hurt the game the most and dragonflight will take it slow to rebuild everything.

And who are you to tell me that ?

Just like I cannot tell you what you can voice. You should respect the same.

Wholeheartedly agree OP. +1

I dont disagree with much of your premise. But my point still stands: the fact they already launched discounts, free trials, free game time…its extremely bad news on the income front. And ultimately, that lack of income directly hurts the players through less staffing and less motivated employees.

If Dragonflight destroyed sales numbers, theyd be hiring dedicated class developers and all us players would reap the benefits.

Instead, Dev communication has been largely silent since August, engagement with the playerbase is very low or nonexistent, and many specs are still blatantly broken with no hope in sight. Theyd admitted in interviews that classes dont have dedicated developers, and it shows, in a very bad way.

Actually you have zero rights. The amendments don’t actually apply to things like game forums unless you’re representative of Blizzard.

As they own the rights to the website and game they hold all the legal rights.

Yea good luck getting any replies from me

I mean you’re the one talking about “rights” when you clearly don’t understand how the amendments actually work.

Never mind that you’re actively looking to silence conversation.

Most of which would have absolutely no clue what they were doing in any position of development.

Hiding during Christmas season? You mean getting holidays like a lot of working people do?

Unfortunately, fanaticism does not translate to expertise or capability.

  1. I’m sorry, no, people playing the game don’t understand the inner workings and underpinnings of the game better than the people who literally develop it for a living.

  2. Experience with a game does not translate to ability to develop a game, or code.

This isn’t a “are you a hardcore game dev or not” thing. They’re doing a job, they’re getting paid to do it, and they’re not your damned slaves. Get over it.

So you’ve gone from commitment to budget? Which is it?

You have the ability to voice your opinion, so long as it does not step outside of the confines of what Blizzard finds acceptable for their forums. Technically you can say whatever you want, but you’re not free from the repercussions of saying whatever you want.

I mean if they don’t have dedicated devs for classes I’d like to know the reason for it.

Yea asking for tuning on bosses is not going to lead to repercussions.

They have been communicating about classes especially druids recently and other classes that is coming in 10.0.5. So I don’t get where this “they are not communicating” from when in fact they are.

Even if they had a class developer it still takes time to implement feedback and acting on feedback and speaking on the forums all of these still takes time.

Given your posts, I’m guessing dedicated means they literally live, eat and sleep in the building they work at.

Dedicated as in why it isn’t valued.
