Ok, this has bothered me for some time but this comment got me really curious:
When I go to ignore a Forum User, my dropdown will only go as far as 6 months, with my web page fully expanded.
How do I get it to go to “forever”? And Perl, I had no desire to ignore you, I just figured I’d use your profile as the example I needed to show. Am I missing something really simple here?
I’m asking here rather than “hijack” another users post.
You should just be able to keep scrolling.
Nope, the scroll bar on the ignore will not scroll any further than the 6 month mark.
Try it on mobile? Not sure why it would be different from browser, but had no trouble going longer using Firefox on Android.
Edit; also looks like it’s cut off. Not sure if that’s the screenshot being cut off or simply the whole page not being scrolled down to see the rest of the menu?
I have had issues with edge not working properly with that menu, but Safari work just fine.
Ok, it works on mobile, Chrome. My Windows laptop is also on Chrome but it won’t work. I’ll have to have that as my solution unless I try a different web browser just for the forums. thanks.
Nope, that’s how it s on my Chrome Web browser, it simply will not scroll any further anyway at all.
Try dragging the browser at the bottom to extend the window a little bit, it might be blocking that option from being visible.
Unfortunately my window is as big as it is going to get. It’s been like this for as long as I can recall, I just assumed 6 months was the limit hehe I’ll have to use mobile or a different browser i think.

I find if I need to ignore someone forever, I have to maximize or full screen my browser to have it show up.
Microsoft Bing can get me to one year … so there is that.

I also see the Forever part, it must be a browser specific or addon problem you’re experiencing.

there is a search bar in the box just type forever in it.

I actually had to shrink my window to 67% before I could reach the “Forever” option. (CTRL -) , also on Chrome.
Yes, I get to it by shrinking my window. I did not know there was a search option in there though so this thread taught me something.
That also works well, all these ideas I never even thought of.
Yep, zoom out. That drop-down was not … tested as much as it should had been.
I can confirm this is an issue. It affects me as well. On mobile primarily. But I know the option is there so I just search it to filter out the irrelevant times.
