What I would like would be a way to put the topics I read or that I’m reading at the top of the forms I know I can bookmark them but I often forget
It seems hypocritical to claim someone has taken a position of “obstinate infallibility” and then claim you are beyond the need the interact with a given opinion.
Also,
Can’t you just scroll past the alleged troll’s posts and not read them?

That is not the point. They derail threads.
I really wish this were the case but I know from experience if enough people flag your posts, your ability to post will be auto silenced. No one even has to look at it.
Whose fault is it if it goes off topic for more than one post except all the people contributing to it?
Assuming what you are saying is true; so your ‘shill’ makes her posts in the topic and if no one responds it stays under control. The issue are the rest of the people who have no self control and lend their posts to it.

It’s an auto feature that is intended for circumstances where someone come on says a montage of grossly vulgar insults that break the TOS until a mod can see it and take action.
Silenced and a mod will only look at it if you contest it.
That’s been my experience.
Loll I do but sometimes when work is slow and I’m reading threads and I have to put my phone down sometimes this track of them.

Ofc it cannot determine innocence that is why I said intent. However, it will in time be reviewed by a mod. Unfortunately since there are not moderators present to read through every thread and post round the clock. It’s the system we have.
No. If 20 people in a thread are saying something you don’t agree with and you then have every other post in the thread saying the opposite idea reworded over and over, that is not constructive. That is not a discussion.
That is what we used to refer to as flame baiting and if somebody bit would cause a flame war ruining the thread.
This happens ALOT now.
It is never treated as trolling or harassment nor is it ever moderated at all.

I mean people will always argue on a public forum regardless. That’s what I hope these forums bring to the table, is seeing players who agree and disagree with an idea. Some people do get really agitated though it’s hilarious.
I honestly am not sure why the ignore feature is not a button anymore, it was always around before at least the time I’ve played this game.
